If you have a company you have every right to questjon the rationale of how the MD was hired. The Super Eagles is our enterprise, and we demand the best we can possibly get based on the circumstance we are in
you cant always get the best and doesn’t mean the one you got is the worst

Oga Ghana team na wash.. but granted the battle of west african nations can be unpredictable. If Chelle is the level you guys are placing post AFCON, those games after the AFCON should have been walkovers
minfelix:
bro nothing changed….Mali is not an African giant…stat padding against minnows means they are have quality above those guys…now playing the likes of Ghana and losing to them is expected..Ghana is not their mate…Comoros is another strong force rising within the rank..a team that ousted Ghana at 2021 Afcon….and plus qualifiers has not ended they still have 6games to play…A Chelle led malian team can stil turn table around against Madagascar and Comoros…
their first game after Afcon was against Ghana, you should know Ghanaians are under pressure to deliver…you cant write off a wounded Ghana team…if Mali had met Madagascar on home soil first game immediately after afcon, oga dem go beat madagascar

bros Ghana no b wash anything…they are struggling doesn’t mean they cant beat still meet top african team and hold them to a draw or even win the match.
bros Nigeria got to the final of Afcon and lost to CIV and met mali immediately and still lost, drew vs SA and won ghana….this is the robotic mindset im repeating again..,so because Chelle was sublime at Afcon meaning he cant lose a match more especially against Ghana an african fierce team….bros Cameroon won afcon 2017 and came to meet Nigeria 6month later in same year that did not play in that year’s afcon..they collected 4-0…so what can you say about that?

for some reason it seems attachment is broken on NL, but over the 4 games in WC qualification, nothing impressive, and it is not looking like the situation will improve. Note the only win is against Chad at home.

bros everyone in that group has tasted defeat…they will still beat themselves…they lost to Ghana which is a stronger team…Chelle did not loose to Comoros and Madagascar

Mali still has some decent players.

I just tried to attach a list of players that Chelle utilized with Mali, but I can confirm attachment functionality is broken

If we are truly patriotic and we belive our nation is a big nation at least in football then we should demand someone befitting. We can't watch and see other African nations employ proven coaches yet we say we can't afford it. Can we truly not afford proven coaches, put together a long term plan etc? Aren't we Nigeria?

Modified

They tell you they don't have money and we suck it in like a simp. Whereas people are sharing salary.
How much you give nff?
Can you beat your chest and say nff has money to pay the kind of coach we want??

The free-flowing football Mali played at Afcon is what is deceiving many, forgetting the Super Eagles don't have that spine or personnel for it. Even one-touch football is a problem, Whether it is Chelle who will play the midfield himself for us, we'll wait and see.

That level should be our starting point.

Chelle stats padding with minnows at AFCON qualifiers. Compare to WC qualifiers
only if Peseiro and Finidi had stat padded with African minnows we would have been top of our group now

Aswear!!!!
See chan eagles midfielders abeg!!!
Those guys were finding their teammates btw the lines with sweet line breaking passes.
Even when the ghanian coach brought it a player to sit on our num 6 (the guy wore 14), the midfielders adapted real quick and the lwf was cutting in to create overload in the midfield to help keep play on.
I enjoyed the midfield performance from those chan eagles guys.
Bro try watch the match

A very good point i wanted to make earlier. Chelle will meet a different profile in SE, will he be able to make our midfield click? Time will tell. Let's hope for the best with him at the helm

Mali have struggled for goals under Saintfeit but they’ve been solid sha. Under Chelle they qualified for 2023 Afcon winning all but 1 game which was a loss away to Saitfeit Gambia scoring 13 goals while Mali under Saintfeit qualified for this year’s Afcon by winning 4 and drawing 2 with 10 goals scored 6 of them at home against Eswatini no need to downplay his record with Mali let’s just hope he get it right with the super eagles

Kanu is the most skillful player Nigeria has ever produced. He was sublime
Okocha is unarguably the Nigeria's most skillful player of all time.

Obodo and Yahaya probably might be more skill than King Kanu, but let me just rank him higher on this list.

Top 10 Nigeria most skillful players:

1.Jay Jay Okocha
2.Kanu Nwakwor
3.Christien Obodo
4.Musa Yahaya
5.John Utaka
6.Rabiu Ibrahim
7.Chidi Ordia
8.Etim Esim
9.Samson Siasia
10.Osaze Odemwingie

Did not watch Etim, but made the list for his popularity.
Musa Yahaya and Rabiu Ibrahim might not have made it to super eagles, but they were very skillful.

Completing the top 15,
In no particular order are:

1.Samuel Chukwueze
2.Victor Boniface
3.Solomon Okoronkwo
4.Pius Ikedia
5.Chinedu Ogbuke
6.James Obiora

The list excludes players from early '90s down

A team that has two best Africa's footballer of the year is too enticing to refuse over MC-Oran.

This man's mind is made up.
He really wants the job. He really wants international recognition.
You can't miss coaching a country of established stars in established leagues of the world. Even $55000 pay cut can't stop it.
I read somewhere that he has been nursing the ambition of coaching Nigeria since he was 12. He would wear the Nigerian jersey and chose playing Nigeria on playstation.
Nigeria here we go!
Welcome Chelle!

12 una 🤣. But wait o! Where’s the source of this taking a pay cut gist? I believe it’s not true because how can a mid table Algerian team afford more than 50k and Nigeria as a country is struggling to pay 50k
