I currently use cake, sweets, candy, garri and ekpa, hot cocoa, noodles, and even fried eggs to bribe a 6-& half-year-old boy into doing his homework, chores, and being a good boy at home and at school. Those are just some of the privileges he enjoys when he does well and he works really hard to keep the goodies coming his way.

For the mother not to challenge d teacher, she is also guilty of beating other children in d school.
Most private schools shld not be operational honestly.

Ever! Even her own kids will have to be monitored whenever they are around her for many years to come. Unfortunately, even in 2025 and Nigeria the way it remains, Nigerians refuse to borrow commonsense en masse! They would rather continue to churn out damaged individuals and then turn around to keep wondering why the vast majority of the citizenry remains no better than zombies or violent barbarians.

I will share a sad story that leads to the death of a lady close to my family.
This girl received a HEAVY slap from a senior when she was in JSS3.When
she got home she told her Mum,she complained of slight headache and her Mum gave her paracetamol and the headache dissapeared.
While growing up,she complains about headache and pain from her left ear like once a year and they never took it serious.
She decided to take the issue serious when she started noticing pus coming out from her ear.Lo and behold,tumor has started growing in her ear,the left side of her face became bigger....
She was flown to India for suggery which was successful but tumor never stop growing.He face was disfigured,her head grow bigger and you could hardly recognize her again.She eventually died 2 years ago.

If your child got home and tell you that a teacher slapped him/her in school,dont waste time,take the child to hospital for a check.
Whatever the outcome of the report is,return to the school and descend heavily on that teacher.

Ur absolutely correct @Kobojunkie. Nigerians wants a better society but they are not ready to work for it. An average Nigerian takes delight in supporting evil. They support anything bad, and u begin to wonder if it's the same set of people that are praying for change. Honestly, Nigeria is gone.

I don't really believe that the desire for a better society is shared by a substantial number of Nigerians. When Nigerians pray for change, they usually pray that the change only happens for them even if at the expense of those around them. That is a country full mostly of people who don't want a better society.

People’s intentions could be mixed up with their approach, and she’s been reprimanded for it.
After this, she’ll know better but you need to pipe down with the judgy attitude.

Hahahahahah U understood the mindset of an average Nigerian. Those praying for change are doing it for their own selfish reasons. Those complaining of corruption by our politicians are only doing it cos they are not the ones in the position to do it.

2. The only reprimand necessary when a crime is committed is for the law to handle it accordingly. Why do you not want the Law enforced in this case?🤔

Let me put it another way for you. If a policeman came up to your mother or son and beat him up, would you equally frown against having legal action in that case? 😩😩😩

This is why I keep saying — I have said this severally over the years —that Nigerians are the way it is today, not because of the 0.001% criminals in government but because the vast majority of Nigerians would rather it remain this way so they too can maybe get a piece of the action at some point in time. The people generally don't mind at all!

What has the reporting of crime to do with patriotism though? In any meaningful society, isn't it meant to be the duty of every citizen to ensure that crime is reported to ensure it is curbed, and this is for the individual good of all within the society? Your analogy is inapt.
I believe she deserves a retrospective punishment.
Her intention was to teach. She did it the outmoded way.
Nowadays, we have punishments like detention, assigning unpleasant tasks, timeout, even removing from class, but she chooses to do it the old way which is now called an assault. You can’t crucify her for that.
