They did not die poor. They chose to be missionaries and matyrs for Jesus.

Despit that, people kept sending them gifts while they were imprisoned because of their anointing and their value to the church

Through Jesus, the heavens and the earth were made, he healed sicknesses that could cost people their life time earnings, he feed thousands of people in many instances and did so many more miracles that billions of dollars could not afford.

Would you say such a person is poor? But the Bible says in 2cor 8:9 that the though he was rich, yet for my sake he became poor, so that I may be rich.

Jesus did not come to die for my sins alone, He also came to die to take away the consequences of sin which is sickness and poverty.

This means that if you think you can remain poor after becoming born again, you have not fully understood your salvation.

while it possible to be ungodly and be rich because of so many reasons, but that does not mean God is associated with poverty because all the people God walk with begging from Abraham God made them very rich , and most of you castigating the pastor , if anybody wish you long life and poverty on your Birthday , will any of you say Amen to such prayer

Paul said in Phillipians 4:12 that he learned to be contented even when poor
Jesus himself in Luke9:58 said he has no place to lay his head.
2Corinthians 8:9 was Paul exhorting Corinthians to continue in their generosity being materially rich as they have also received from others when they lacked. See verse14
but by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack—that there may be equality. 15As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing left over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”
From the above, it is clear that verse 9 was acknowledging Jesus as the source of their riches. Meanwhile, are you now saying those who lack that are being referred to in verse 14 are not followers of Christ?
Poverty is not a consequence of sin. The most prosperous nations of the world are usually the most ungodly and immoral as we see even today where the most prosperous nations embrace things like homosexuality and other stuffs. Just likewise Sodom and Gomorrah was a prosperous land.
Why no one prays to be poor and we have faith in God that he will indeed bless us with all riches, not being blessed with material things is not as a result of sin or unrighteousness.

Your line of reasoning is why some Christians remain poor even when God has made provisions for wealth.

Open your eyes and take advantage of it

God is a serious worker and his will for us is to work and add value to the earth and people around us(Gen 2:15, John 5:17). It is through the value you add that wealth flows to you.

That is why you should not expect financial blessings if you are not working. There is no way the blessing will come to manifestation if you don't create the channel for it to flow to you through the work you do.

Even the devil knows this and has the counterfeit of this principle. You will notice that even people who do money rituals would need to do a business so that the money they are looking for can come to them. That is why you see that people will be drawn to their business and those patronizing them will come under a compulsion to pay them excessively- Whether it is yahoo they are into or something that looks legit.

Jesus Christ never experienced lack.
Whenever He needed something, it was made available.
He needed a boat, it was made available.
He needed a donkey, it was made available.
He even had a treasurer. Can they be treasueres where there is no money?

Jesus never lacked. All he NEEDED for himself, his disciples and the ministry was made available by God.
He sent His disciples on a mission and none of them lacked.

That's prosperity.
How can you be lacking food and be saying it is okay as God's child truly serving God?

Again, be there. Life will mess you without God's prosperity working in your life.
