Kog45:Chief, I don't know if any of these guys will make top 20 most skillful Nigeria players. I haven't heard of this Dodo Avaa,I was expecting names like Henry Nwosu, Haruna Ilerika. I will go with the likes of Ikechukwu Uche,Moses Simon,Friday Ekpo and Ademola Lookman to complete my list. |

Napoleon55:Ebiede will definitely make Top 20. I watched his training session with the Super Eagles at Shell camp and he was mesmerizing. He pulled off skills that had Uche Okechukwu, Sunday Oliseh and Taribo chewing grass. Literally. To explain to you how def Ebiede was, the waist breaker pulled off a skill that Okocha later replicated. Emma Ebiede the waist breaker was truly a delight to watch. Sad he never got the chance to have a run in the Super Eagles. |

TheGoodJoe:What about Friday Elastic Elahor. Wole Odegbami and Dimeji Lawal. @Kog45 abeg what eventually happened to Dotun Alatishe, Taofik Malik, Baldwin Bazuaye, Kayode keshinro and Segun Fetuga. |

Napoleon55:then I'll refer you to Mikel u20 world Cup and his time at Lynn Oslo so you see yahaya wasn't as skillful as Mikel. I'm not talking about greatest either that's why I rank Nwakali ahead of him. Even Stanley okoro and Lookman Haruna exhibited more skills at junior level than yahaya. What I'm saying is if your skills can't take you to a level at senior football bar injuries than that's amateur skills. Like Stanley Okoro like Yahaya |

Napoleon55:nobody is laughing at this players but if must rate any player among the most skillful player in Nigeria due to underage tournament alone, then you need to think twice, go back and watch all the underage tournaments we have participated in. |

Napoleon55:Please modify your headline to read 20 most skillful Nigerian footballers you are aware of or have watched. From the 60's till date there are many you don't know of. Have you heard of Manga Mohammed? (An Okocha on steroids). The list is debatable and not cast in stone. |

AndSunGorilla:I think time to rate our all times wingers cuz Elahor,Odegbamis,Dimeji Lawal are all wingers and don't forget we have Humphrey Edobor,Folorunsho Okenla,Adokiye Aimeasemeaka,James Etokebe,Felix Aladesanmi,Uwem Ekarika,Adeolu Adekola, Benjamin Nzeakor,John Chidozie,Tarila Okoronwata,Ikechuckwu Ofoje Oh Segun Fetuga was a product of St Finbaars secondary school, finished his secondary school in 1986 and made under 17 team in 1987 and later captained 1989 team. But really surprised not seeing him making it further, now into sports management after went through Charton Athletic sports management tutelage. Dotun Alatishe can be classified as real NPFL player cuz he spent most of his football career in Nigeria league playing for Stationary Stores,Shooting Stars and Rangers. Kayode Keshinro was tagged another Yekini but failed to make it after left Nigeria playing in lower league in Belgium Baldwin Daddy Bazuaye despite having father in Nigeria coach circles, failed to make it with senior national team but a very good player but doing well for himself Taofiq Malik was a popular figure with shooting stars of Ibadan but I don't know where he is now |

aicon4s:Chidera Ejike is definitely among the top 20 if not the top 10,I totally forgot,I should replace Friday Ekpo with him. Apart from Segun Odegbami, Sam Okwaraji,Tarila Okoronwanta and Henry Nwosu, I watched the rest of the players, Tijani Babangida, Victor Moses and Wilson Oruma are definitely better dribblers than some of the players but I don't think they can replace the names on the list based on skills. So which four names do you think should be replaced with Odegbami, Okwaraji,Okoronwanta and Nwosu? |

zicky:Which amateur skills? Yahaha at the U-20 and U-17 world cup was displaying skills only the elite players could execute. Yahaya is by far more skillful than Mikel,Nwakali, Haruna Lukman and Stanley Okoro combined. Yahaya successfully performed a rabona assist against Brazil, only the elite skillful players can attempt that kind of technique on a serious match. None of these players u were mentioning can do that,or try a famous Zidan turn with multiple stepovers follow up in cup finals match, those were defining moments that stood him out ahead of others skills wise. Mikel is a very technical player, Nwakali, just like Mikel is midfield controller , Haruna and Stanley Okoro are dribblers. All these players have their unique talent, but not close to Yahaya when u talk about skills. It's just a hard luck that affected his career. |

TheGoodJoe:Elahor, Amokachi, Okechukwu, Ben Iroha and Moses Kpakor were the break out stars of Westerhoff's 1990 ANC team. Elahor and Okechukwu both went to Brondby in Denmark but I don't know what happened to Elahor after 1992, he fizzled out. |

Napoleon55:Chidera Ejuke and Boniface have no place on that list. How many caps has Ejuke and Boniface to the point of being in any list at all. Boniface? Dribble? Which match? Abeg ooo. Remove him name sharperly. He's not in any way worthy of mention as far as Super Eagles is concerned. |
