No problem..Tinubu will go and kneel down and beg world bank and IMF for loans to fund the project..so that is not a problem.. |

Of course Daily Trust will point this out. But where were they when Kastina to Niger Republic Rail line was been constructed with NNPC crude swap. Hypocrites. What Obasanjo dare not do, PBAT does it effortlessly ! |

Blazetrailer:If your brain had developed properly when you were forming in your mother's womb, you would've known that my comment was made under a caveat. Government brings 1 trillion (which is already sorted), and the contractor brings 15 trillion. And motorists pay the contractor through tolls. Hence, no need including the project in the 2025 budget. |

Blazetrailer:Who is this one? And what gibberish are you going on about?Everything I quoted gives the context, moro.n! The FG stepped in to fund it to fast-track the process, but that was meant for phase one and phase one only, meaning there is not meant to be any further FG funding. So what's your point? |

Let us ask Google..... It must provide answers including the N22 trillion ($40 billion USD) hurriedly approved by NASS without any corresponding project for Buhari and Emiefele in March 2023. Over to you Google...... THEDEEPSIGHT: |

Thanks for that sharp answer. That's the more reason they omitted it in the 2025 so as to avoid budget repetition as was the usual practice of the past governments. The construction has reflected in the last budget and it's still inconclusive, therefore, it's not going to reflect in the new budget again unless there's something about the project that wasn't included during the last budget. I think this budget 2025 will be TINUBU first comprehensive original budget since he came in..... yoruboid: |

yoruboid:shut up! Go and verify what. I'm in lagos it's on the beginning part which is VI. Part of VI for that matter that is 100% completed. They are just clearing and making way for the construction that made you propaganda fools to say they ve finished in lagos, now to ogun. FOOOLs I just read it actually came from Tinubus pocket🤣🤣. Blinded follower. You have confirmed that you are really very stupid. Na only poor people dey reason this way. The reason why you will remain poor |

You see your life outside. I knew quite well you didn't know anything about public finance and you proved me right. Now listen carefully so you can learn No government(including the western ones) put 100% of funds out on their own a projects, talk more of counterpart funding of a public project of that magnitude. What this means is that the N1 trillion of FGN was not released in full at once. It must have been released in parts. In your mind, FGN has pushed out N1 trillion for the project(something that was not even budgeted for omin both the 2024 budget and the supplementary one) So, the balance of what is not released yet will have to be budgeted for otherwise, there would have to be another extra budgetary appropriation (with its political ans economic/inflationary implications) Have you learnt now? Now, whose brain emwas not well formed...oponu SmartPolician: |

It's not there because it's not being financed by the FG, the contractor is funding the project. Nigerian News Media are the number one olodo media in the world. They don't know anything, they don't do research, they source their info from other olodo people on social media.

Lol..try and remove anything like :smart" in your name. You are not even close to it. Now listen In your mind , FGN released the entire 1trillion at once...mumu No government or financier in the world releases the entite counterpart funds at once and they are carried over many years ot number of years they have to. Your post below shows someone with no knowledge of how project financing and public financing work. Very pedestrian. SmartyPants: |

You know nothing about public finance and budgeting. That 1 trillion was not budgeted for in 2024. So where did you get the fact that ut reflected in 2024 budget? Mathewrichard99: |

Blazetrailer:You're just being stupid for no reason. It is clearly stated that the FG is funding the entirety of the work in phase one as the private partner was struggling to arrange funding. So you are attempting to argue that the work is progressing without being funded either by the FG or the private partner. What's wrong with you? This is minus the fact that Dave Umahi explicitly said the funds had been released. You're a total waste of time. |

Everybody involved in this project from Tinubu to Umahi to Tinubu's friend and his son must be probed when this administration is over. The grand theft going on in the name of coastal highway project must be investigated and the criminals locked up. |

This post clearly shows how unintelligent many Nigerians are. Any president that will leave his work to attend to social media rant will be very useless and that is why I kind of admire Tinubu for not staining himself with social media rant |
