A project of this magnitude never went through budgetary appropriation. It didn't pass through the National Assembly, there was no environmental impact assessment, no contract bidding, etc.

Tinubu just dipped his filthy and leprous hands into our treasury, took out ₦1trillion, and gave it to his Lebanese friend, calling it counterpart funding.

This must surely pass as the biggest fraud ever committed by a sitting president in the entire world, which is why Tinubu has become one of the most, if not the most, corrupt president in the world.

Government brings 1 trillion (which is already sorted), and the contractor brings 15 trillion. And motorists pay the contractor through tolls. Hence, no need including the project in the 2025 budget.

Everything I quoted gives the context, moro.n! The FG stepped in to fund it to fast-track the process, but that was meant for phase one and phase one only, meaning there is not meant to be any further FG funding. So what's your point?

Thanks for that sharp answer. That's the more reason they omitted it in the 2025 so as to avoid budget repetition as was the usual practice of the past governments. The construction has reflected in the last budget and it's still inconclusive, therefore, it's not going to reflect in the new budget again unless there's something about the project that wasn't included during the last budget. I think this budget 2025 will be TINUBU first comprehensive original budget since he came in.....
