A Nigerian lady has sparked online buzz after revealing the 20-question PDF her father sent her to complete about her boyfriend before she could introduce him to the family.

Sharing the list on social media, she wrote:
"My dad sent me a 20-question PDF about my boyfriend that I have to answer before I can introduce them. Half the questions are medical history and blood work!"

The questions ranged from his personal history to his habits and medical background, including:

1. What are important personal stories that shaped who he is today?

2. Where did he go to school, and did he graduate?

3. Does he have a family history of diabetes, blood disorders, sickle cell traits, or cancers?

4. Does he have any past surgical procedures?

5. When did you start dating him, and how many girls has he dated prior to you?

6. Does he smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol (state frequency and how many drinks per occasion), or use illicit/recreational drugs?

7. What is he doing for a living?

8. Who does he live with?

9. Why did he break up with his last girlfriend?

10. Does he make you feel supported and safe?

11. What do you like most and least about him?

Why not learn to be happy for women with standards along with yourselves? You can't stand a woman you don't rate trying to hold herself up and do better in her choices. It's scary, as if you have the right to judge and tell another human being what they deserve based on your perception of them.

There's something such as insinuation. You are indirectly implying that the lady might not be up to the standard her father puts out for her partner. It seems so, because of the question you chose.

If we were to look at that girl now, and it was publicly revealed that she has a high body count, many guys would start dancing, that how dare she ask for a standard she does not deserve. Your guys would be happy. So what else is the intent of your question. We are adults and we know that questions are not always innocent, things are not always white and black.

There's more to this interpretation of mine on your post, and it can be discussed further. But if you don't want to look into it, and if you feel my opinion of your post is offensive to you, then just dismiss it as my personal opinion which you don't agree with.

Some of those questions like how many girls he has dated doesn't even matter.
Some people went through hell in school and droped out, the question of where he schooled and graduation doesn't even matter either.

You don't need a family history of sickle cell, all you need to know is the genotype of the person she's dating. If the person has sickle cell siblings and the person is AA, that's all that matters.

Will a family history of diabetes and high blood pressure prevent you from marrying them? What the man should be concerned with is the lifestyle of the partner and hope for the best. Cancer strikes even the most healthy people.

The important question that I did not see, is the question of family mental health. Mental health issues run in some families and it is genetic. Those are important things in family history one should worry a about.
