I personally believe that death marks the end of conscious existence. Once the brain ceases to function, all experiences, thoughts, and awareness also come to an end. The topic of the afterlife has always puzzled humans from time immemorial, we only just have more vocabulary for saying the same thing.

But what we can deduce from all of man's effort to console or excuse himself for how he lives is that WE DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING FOR SURE.


Until science can hold itself to account by the same yardstick it holds other "superstitions" - the need of evidence to back any claim - we're all just guessing.

Yet, the nearer you are to the death, the more your fear for death increases.

It clearly means that you are aware and conscious of what is going to happen to you after you enter death exactly how you were conscious that you are enter in death.

People in Coma, paralysis and Alzheimers show you that brain activity has little business with living.

If life is a product of random mindless atoms bumping on each other, then life ultimately has no meaning, good and evil are just figment of imagination, heck what does imagination even mean. Rape, murder, stealing etc are matter of taste, love is just a product of chemical reaction, why punish a set of atoms for crimes. The atheistic world view ultimate lead to despair, chaos and nihilism, atheists cannot successfully live out their world view.

yes, it is important that you live your life to the fullest which is one of the reasons why we are Christians..
That notwithstanding, there are also no contrary empirical or even theoretical evidence against the biblical theory that death has been defeated through Christ Jesus

➜The consciousness that was originally born into that body completely loses its ability to communicate with the outside world through that same body
➜The body that once held the consciousness degrades back to the dust from which it was made.
