seunmsg:I'm a fan of Sanwo-Olu precisely because of these trains. If the runs for a third term, I'd vote for him. But you can't conclude that Chinedu won't have continued the project and maybe even do a better job. |

This is how Tinubu is squandering Lagos money while his critics are yet to tell the world where their states allocations over the years is kept. |

JuanDeDios:The likes of Rivers, Kano, Delta, Kaduna and Ogun can afford this with the help of a well structured loan. It’s the will power we lack in these states. |

Mustack:😂 They're ain't trooping in because of price affordability dude. That's because of the repairs going on Eko Bridge, Marine bridge and other major roads. Most route were closed and traffic was hell. The train fair is 2x the bus fair... The only thing I'll accept in your list is the time factor. |

naptu2:Very impressive. Maintenance culture by facilities managers for these train projects must be maintained. One thing I've always admired Lagos State for is that right from 1999 till date, ALL the Lagos State Governors have always been technocrats who are well-traveled with vast work experiences and great education. Former Governor Bola Tinubu who is a chartered accountant was a senior technocrat who rose to become the Treasurer at Mobil Nigeria Lagos HQ (now ExxonMobil), Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu worked in investment banking and also rose to the senior position of a bank Treasurer before becoming the FIRST boss of the successful Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) and also a Commissioner. The Governors have always followed the laid down developmental master plans of Lagos State brick-by-brick leading to the emergence of iconic projects such as the Lekki Deep Seaport in Ibeju-Lekki , Lekki Free Trade Zone in Ibeju-Lekki, the emergence of Dangote Petrochemical Refinery in Ibeju-Lekki which was originally planned for Ondo State by Aliko Dangote, the legacy rail transportation networks, etc, to decongest the roads. It's NOT been a one-time transformation but a gradual one. There's more to be done especially with managing the influx of population from other states and other countries into Lagos State leading to overpopulation and the stretching of facilities in some places. The MAJOR gift that the current President of Nigeria (who was the first Governor of Lagos State after full democracy was restored in 1999) can rapidly give to Nigeria is to make sure that there is more devolution of powers to the 36 states in order to remove all the inefficiencies in the ecosystem and ensure that people don't have to migrate from their states of origin to Lagos, Ogun, Kano, Rivers, and Abuja in order to live or earn a better life. Vast opportunities exist in each state of Nigeria for their indigenes to thrive and sell semi-processed and processed agri-produce to other Nigerian states and for export. With maximum security against those illegal gun-wielding foreign Fulani herdsmen and other local and foreign bandits in full swing, Benue State, Zamfara, Southern Kaduna, Plateau State, Taraba, Katsina, Borno, Kwara, Ebonyi and Niger States for instance have absolutely NO business with poverty and being regarded as underachieving states. |

Frezhkid10:Public transportation is less crowded during the day anywhere in the world compared to rush hour. The peak periods will clearly be 6am to 8am and 4pm to 6pm as people go to and fro work. When the Blue line reaches Okokomaiko, it will have more general usage at all times of the day and when it integrates with Red line, even more so |

And I won’t stoop so low to exchange tribal issues which clearly you have no idea about apart from coming online to write BS. Apart from Lagos, which other western states is as developed as the east? Your answer lies in that question ! But again you’re daft to understand |
