The 30 years old age limit only holds if You graduate after you turn 30.

The issue here is you're daft and have refused to take correction. If you graduate below the age of 30, you can decide to serve anytime you want, even if you're 50. NYSC doesn't reckon with your current age but the age you were when graduated from high institution. If you graduate at 25, and you decide to serve by 45, they have no business with that 45, it's that 25 at which you graduated from school they are concerned with.

You are the one that don't even know what you are saying here. I know of someone who went for his service in his early 40s and he graduated since 2006. During my service year in camp, there are some persons in their mid or late 40s that we were in camp together.

That is a lie. I was 31 when I served. I was told that because I graduated before the age of 30, i couldn't get an exemption. The same with many of us who were above 30 at the time. That exemption only works if you graduated from uni from 30 and above.

It is not age falsification, funny enough, he use his real age of 40 plus in his NYSC application, it is the year you graduated from school and the age you were then that is what NYSC will looks at.

Seriously, I don't know where most of them are getting this false information from that if you graduate before 30, you can't go and serve even if you are in your 50s. Is like most of them here have not even gone for service sef that's why they are ignorant and given false information.

Too many deaths in nigeria every day even in war torn countries people don't die in these high numbers.

I wanted to ask the same question. 34 yes old is supposed to be exempted from NYSC. Rip to him. Times are hard but suicide isn't the way out. Some mother's can drive their children crazy with complains and too much talks
