What NYSC considers is the age at which he graduated. A 40 year old can serve in as much as he graduated before 30 years. I am assuming he graduated before 30 years and deferred his service until now.

Arewa PUNCH gathered that Bryant, who recently concluded his NYSC program, was suspected to be having some mental challenges before his death and had battled the health issue for almost 12 years.
Speaking with Arewa PUNCH on the matter, the mother of the deceased who simply identified herself as Mrs Ogah, lamented that her son took his own life despite several efforts by the family to make him feel comfortable amid his health challenges.
She explained that Bryant being the first son and first child of the family had always wished to contribute to the family’s upkeep and growth, but his unstable mental health issues were a major challenge for him to achieve his dreams and aspirations.

He endured 12 years of mental torment and eventually decided he had had enough of the hell. He took what was his own life in the end. But you feel he must have continued to exist in that hell for his supposed loved ones to continue to feel OK with themselves, abi? He should have continued to live in that hell for their sake denying himself the relief he longed for all of that while?

He never asked to be born into the condition he had to live. He never asked for parents who could not cater to his health and mental issues. The selfishness of his parents is to blame for his existing in the first place. Yet you accuse him of being selfish for taking the life that belonged to him in the end? You people need to begin reasoning more like human beings and less like animals abeg!
