Other African countries are leaving us behind smh, when was the last time we had such a deal
1. Ebenezer Akinsanmiro went from Remo Stars to inter milan. He is now on loan at sampdoria
2. Victor Eletu from Nigeria has been in ac milan youth team since 14. May be loaned out this season
3. Daniel Daga is only 18 this year and in norway. Big teams like ac milan and liverpool are watching him
4. There is one olowoporoky boy some scandinavian teams and other big teams are watching.
5. one boy from ojodu fc (I have forgotten his name) once trailed at chelsea but he is not in the French league
7. A 21 year old Chrisantus Uche is already in getafe first team and has played 20 matches
8. Benjamin Federicks is already in the youth team of Brendford fc at 18 or 19
There are others like that in modest clubs.
Our youth football and academies are doing a lot of work. Dont worry our grasroot football is at lease decent and effective.
Maybe you dont monitor our grassroots football. Its really vibrant and productive

There was a time we pushed Iheanacho and Chidiebere Nwakali to Manchester City. We pulled the plug on such growth when the NFF abandoned out U17 open scouting system. That has led to poor young talents and less buzz of our talents.

You answered your question, our defenders have glaring limitations that could be exposed in a 2 man defence, the last defender that we had that could comfortably hold his own in a 2-man defence was Joseph Yobo
And had a lot of (if I am not mistaken) own goals to show for it.

Which Joseph Yobo? Same Joseph Yobo that Keshi benched for the majority of our 2013 AFCON win?

Same Yobo I saw play in the national team?

Ok

This season

1 goal
3 assists
3 big chances created
2 Team of the Week appearances
Solid defender for Everton...

Deserves a spot, maybe.
Ok man

Leeds United are keen on signing Sevilla striker Kelechi Iheanacho, the 28 year old could be made available for a loan move this month 📰

CHAN Eagles Vs Sunshine Stars

Quality goals

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLx-81BAjfE?si=8DmkCLzWTNHWGqpJ
wow... Best highlights I've seen this year. At least 3 of the goals are world class...

I like the Chan Eagle first goal. That midfielder who lobbed the pass needs a bonus. The striker who headed down (assist) needs to be given a car or a house or something.

Sunshine stars first goal is also a "Luis Suarezque" kinda goal. Look at that bend cool even as the keeper stretch reach, mbanu 🙌🙌 The guy needs a week off 🤔

The last Chan Eagle goal reminded me of Carlos Alberto 1970 World cup goal vs Italy... That volley is mad. I dare any keeper to touch that... Shaolin soccer thing...

The only thing missing was BascoVanvelli's voice. Alrrrrrright.

I love beautiful goals wink

Edo Queens open up the season vs Abia Angels
It was a whitewash cheesy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdaXQ2ruA_I
To be honest I am really proud of the transformation of edo Queens within the past few years.

Obaseki administration really tried in sports development under his watch bendel insurance came back to the NPFL and almost scoop the league with an unbeaten run

I think the edo government really need invest in edo Queens considering the fact that they almost won the CAF league the last time and that would have been a huge prize money

This Girls are dishing out so much returns for little government investment

Peak Yobo was Nigeria's best defender in the last two generations, he may have his flaws but he can hold his own on his day

He has a history of scoring goals for SE which I can't deny but I don't see him being relevant to Chelle oo. I read that he likes his players mobile

Pls I have a question with the image I posted below.

Is it Oga chelle that instructed that guy to pour him water for head, or the guy just did it on his own? Or the guy touch his head and felt how hot it was or he saw smoke coming out?

I just need to know. Anytime I see that Pic, that question always come to mind.

He was asked the question and he said he was becoming dizzy after they lost against CIV and his BP was high but the assistant noticed and baptised him. According to him, the water baptism made him feel alright.

I'm very satisfied with this answer... 👍

I remembered that match. The last 10 minutes was a classic...

I think that was where I developed a soft spot for Mr Chelle... Remember they showed seidou kaita (was it him🤔) at the vip box looking like he saw a ghost...

That afcon was the best I've watched.

That system was an initiative of Bolaji Abdullahi a former Minister for Sports, and it was following the introduction of MRI bone scan.

I knew it would not last because it was a system that 1. Was going to promote excellence. 2. Yielded very little to the kleptomaniacs. 3. Put the coaches and players in the driving seat.

The NFF just like any other organ of government in Nigeria works to sabotage excellence.
