Milito:that’s the practice with TLS. They just want to fleece applicants. When it was handled by VSF, I used an old pics I had taken more than 6 months before and didn’t have issues. Had to take another picture at the VSF center when I applied for Italian visa. Almost all the applicants I met there had to retake their passport pictures. |

And I discovered have not receive any acknowledge or checklist message since then? And I was told that they do send messages after submission of documents for acknowledgement, and I did this application myself and I put my own email and phone number I just want to ask if this my experience do happen also, because am beginning to be scared. Thanks |

They don’t just deny people who have US visas, they deny people who live in the US too. pufframmy: |

5 days is fine. My intended stay was 5 days for my last application. It was successful. Manmann: |

tpain121:This is so true. I literally ranted about this scam during the application. They clearly want to make money off it, 7500 is also quite pricey for a passport photograph. Clearly intentional on their part. I saw a response debunking this and I refuse. I’ve processed two Schengen visas at VFS and two with TLS and the difference is very clear. It’s an intentional effort to make money off applicants and I will fill this in my satisfaction survey. Things need to be called out for what they are. I literally had a Schengen standard passport and they rejected it claiming the quality was not up to the requirements. BTW, I think I took this picture with them. In response to this, they then pulled up the “that means it’s older than 6months” 😐. I was so mad. They didn’t even ask me if I wanted to take pictures with them, they just wrote something on my application that prompted the admin guys checking the documents to include the passport picture costs in my visa fee payment |

davodyguy:the purpose is to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Paris. For context, we applied with our child last October for 10days and was denied. It was our first family vacation but I have travel history and they don't. Last December we went to southafrica for Christmas. Now we are about to reapply but this time just me and my wife. I needed advice if they consider 5days short . @Ozeggy davodyguy |

If your visa gets denied as a family, then re apply alone and see how it goes. |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 11:18am On Jan 19, 2025 |
Manmann:What was the reason for refusal? What's stated in that letter? Couple of things needs to be addressed before you consider either applying alone or as a family |

I suggest you apply alone first, your wife and son can apply later. Or your wife alone first, then you and your son subsequently. Manmann: |

The embassy thinks in a certain way. Your circumstance is more critical when you say you want to tour france as a family. The chances are mostly slim. So work on building yours first as main applicant. |

Abeg who get idea on Italian visa. Does Conference falls under business visa or tourism visa? Also what are the requirements someone have to submit personally to the embassy with other documents from the conference. |

Good day all, Has anyone applied for France visa with full family for the first time and got the Visa. I plan applying for France visa for my family (Me, my wife and 3 kids) for the purpose of family vacation in the summer. A friend of mine did same last year, his wife and kids were denied but he got the visa, so he had to travel alone. So my question is, please can I apply with the family at ones all together? Or should i apply first? When i get it then my wife and the kids can apply together? Although for the same period for the visit (summer time in august). Please I need advice on the best approach to this. |

Please, how can a family of 4 get an appointment to submit their documents? We want to go to TLScontact on the same day. The husband has travel histories, but his wife and their sons are newbies with no travel history. |

Create a tls account. Then link everyone application together before choosing a date. You can pick frequent flyer for the husband if he has a uk,USA,Canada or previous schegen visa valid or not. Then pick first time traveler for the rest. There are dates for March at the moment. If the application is solid. They will approve it. I got Visa for my wife too as a first timer because I am a frequent traveler. Ajalalomo: |

Hello All, Myself and my cousin applied as a group for france Schengen stating tourism as the reason. I am a civil servant while he runs a real estate company. We submitted the application on 10th January using TLS premium lounge sef. Passports came back today with rejection. Reason being that the information supplied was not reliable. Meanwhile, We applied using the same format and documents in August 2024 to Netherlands last year as first timers and we were given the visa which we travelled with in October. Is there a general trend of rejection from france recently? |
