Bizzle Osikoya, Co-Founder The Plug Global, has cried out:

All of you UK, US & Canada people initiating dispute . is it really fair? If you don't have money to spend for Detty December, don't come, it's not by force.

My Business has received over 10 in last one week. I can see your real names too.

I just don't want to embarrass anyone. But it's really unfair . This last one is really paining me $690 to ₦ is a lot on my business.

As in? 690 usd? We're they dissatisfied with the services they got? Or did they ask for services that weren't delivered?

Could it be that some Nigerians in diaspora now want to play on Nigerian businesses the game that the law in the US and UK where they reside will never allow them to play on businesses there?

So the money will be automatically refunded after initiating dispute or what?

Will the payment company not do some investigation at least into the dispute?

We are our own problem. But dem initiating a dispute doesn't mean you will lose your money. These financial outfits in diaspora are reasonable. As long as you give them all the information they need about the transaction that is being disputed, you will get to keep your money. Make sure you let know that the disputes are fraudulent.

The dispute will definitely get resolved... This is not a smart move thing.

Lagos was fund and with time, I believe the dollar -naira relationship will get more attention if we continue to encourage more detty December activities.
Re: Nigerians In UK, US & Canada Initiate Dispute After Detty December by Christ4ever: 8:19am On Jan 19, 2025
This is really unfair.

Some Nigerians get criminal mindset. Whether they are based here on abroad, na still the same gene.

But as business owners, I expect you to have personal evidence that the transactions were successful and you also provided the goods/services requested.

So, as chargebacks dey come you provide evidence sharp sharp.

I may be wrong, but I think the issue can be likened to going into a bar and asking barman to serve everybody "drinks on you" and then when they bring you the bill you start questioning what did you buy or why's the bill so high! grin grin grin

That's the problem, those financial outfits are not always reasonable and they heavily tilt towards satisfying their paying customers than some business that they most times believe insurance will cover.

Better don't receive foreign credit card if you are a business in Nigeria.

Simply cash or naija method alone..
