I keep saying it.

Every Nigerian should thank Dangote for resetting the petrol sector and waking up the sleepy NNPCL from sleep.

Countries progress when entrepreneurs emerge.
U actually think that 'state of the art' monitoring hub they showed up will actually improve accountability or increase more oil theft?
Do the math: why are other billionaires not jumping in? Is it possible that Nigeria made only 10 trillion naira(7 billion US dollars) only last year?

Great100000:
The $20 billion Dangote refinery is set to hit its maximum refining capacity in the coming months, which has been touted at 650,000 barrels per day (bpd).

• Dangote refinery to reach 650,000bpd capacity by June this year.

• Plans to resolve local crude deficit by importing oil from outside Nigeria.

• Debacle with NNPC hindered local production of premium motor spirits (petrol).

Last, Dangote is only after his profits and
of no use to Nigerians, just as I talk am before..

👉 When Dangote enter sugar business, sugar
became unaffordable
👉 He enter cement, local cement come cost
pass imported one
👉 He is now into petroleum and his petrol ⛽️
IS now costlier than the imported one which
had shipping 🚢 cost added

Thank goodness, the PH and Warri refineries are working with kaduna to join soon according to APC and their supporters. Let them consider the masses grin. Dangote is a business man that has invested his money for business and not charity. Let's leave him alone

Oga you guyz need to understand "Competition" will never steer a market
that is liable to xchange rate.

More refineries at these time will not be a blessing cos the PIA reserves for refineries is mere 450,000 which is not even enough for dangote refinery

More refineries mean more import of crude, transversing from import of pms to import of crude is more or less going in circles

With Dangote, Govt/Nnpc should maximize production and dissuade import as much as possible .. all these development can only benefit the economy if Naira regains value

Billionaires that have loans and debt hanging on their necks. Did you notice after PMB dealt with subsidy syndicate, all yeye oil billionaires are mere thieves and using goverment money for business have gone underground huh It's few billionaires that have the financial war chest to embark on such capital intensive projects. Tinubu finally buried all the thieves by removing subsidy

You really don't have sense. Grow up for once in your life. A working Nigeria benefits everyone, and in a working democracy there must be opposition, it is meant to keep those in government on their toes.
Try and stop being stupid and have sense.
You're the one with no sense. It is either you don't know or belong to the ethnic group of people always ready to cut their nose to spite their faces because of nothing other than what the poster you responded to highlighted.

I.e the morbid fear that Tinubu, a man from the ethnic group that is their lifelong enemy, will lead Nigeria into greatness while they keep touting the cowardly and opportunist Agulu fraud as best.

When the lunatic conspiracy theorist and shameless attention-seeking Hundeyin claimed "Phantom" Dangote refinefy is a scam that will never dispense a drop of petrol, a silly tale No sane and logical person cn give credence to, who were quick to carry that senseless message around the world other than those who also quickly spread the inane rumour Buhari was dead and replaced by Jubrin from Sudan? Abeg go and sit down. Nigerians know themselves too much for this garbage you are trying to sell.

People like you just take advantage of low IQ Nigerians, with the attention span of a fish, who cannot even remember and use events barely a year old. If not visit the thread below where many directly called out Obidients as being enemies-of-progress against the development of their own Country because of nothing other than inordinate hatred of Tinubu and largely ethnocentric love of 'Yes Daddy' Gbajue.

Don't come and be revising history shamelessly as you lot are fond of."Opposition" and "keeping others on their toes", to you, is claiming vehemently a Refinery one of Africa's richest and most astute businessmen spent $20 billion USD on "will never work" ba?

Manipulative people like you, who can't call a spade a spade, are the real closet haters who are also enemies of the "Zoo" yet now forming 'emergency lovers of Nigeria' because of the Presidential ambition of the Agula fraudster and "Yes Daddy" joker.

Exactly what I was saying above. It beggars belief a sane person can ciaim one of Africa's richest, most successful and most savvy businessman can spend $20 billion USD just to scam Nigerians. Igbo people hatred of others and the "Zoo" na die.

It is such that reduces the IQ of a Uni professor to lower than that of a Baboon to the extent he will even vehemently insist Buhari died and was replaced by a clone from Sudan called Jubrin. The success of the Dangote refinery puts hateful Igbos to shame and ridicules them as enemies of the "Zoo's" progress.

That is a fact they can now try to deny but damning evidence is plenty. Same as how, today, they claim the incarcerated Kanu is innocent whereas literally hundreds of Radio Biafra hatefest broadcast provides incontrovertible evidence the contrary is true.

Of what use is the promise kept? Will it take down price to even 500naira per liter? Why all this hailing as if it’s now easier for common man to fetch fuel at affordable price. All this paid commenters won’t let people rest and will never let Nigeria move forward due to their selfish interest.

You think you are smart but in hindsight you don't have sense. First of all this comment has nothing to do with Dangote or Tinubu, I was only telling your fellow colleague in stupidity how a working democracy operates.
This move of trying to push arguments on tribal lines is too stale. Look for another format that can stick.

Rubbish. "Opposition" is not claiming the the refinery one of Nigeria's most successful nd richest businessman spent $20 billion to build will nerver produce "a drop of petrol". That is. An idiotic statement that can only be driven by the dumbest category of 'bad belle'.

This would be stupid business practice if true. Most companies would own their input source if just to control their inputs and earn more profit.

But do some research and come back to inform us that all major crude oil extracting companies (Shell, Agip, BP, Chevron etc) don't have their own refineries.

Bros there are thousands of refineries around d world,70% of refineries don't own oil wells. This is my field of specialization. The only requirement for owing a refinery is source of crude must be close. The companies u mentioned are NOCs including saudi aramco.Dangote refinery is a private enterprise.Shell is dutch,BP is uk etc....their govts hav alot of interest in this companies as no government or economy can go far without securing a stable source of power(fuel) to drive innovation

I would expect the bigger refineries would like to secure a stable source of fuel by owning [part of] their source, while smaller ones might not.

It just makes better business "as no government or economy can go far without securing a stable source of power(fuel) to drive innovation", as you've rightly stated.
