Yes it has. It is filthy.

Striving for excellence is alien to these guys. In a global world like this I don't think there can be any excuse for our clubs to not better themselves.

This was the shambolic display they also put up in the Super League. $1m they got, I doubt they invested it in the team. Even their stadium was not fit to host their CAF forays.
The reality is till we are able to invest in the league, good pay and infrastructure, any player with some potential would keep running to the Azerbaijans and the ends of the earth just to make a good living for themselves. Am sure we have a lot of players who prematurely left Nigeria and unfortunately disappeared in Europe or Asia while trying to make it.
We have agents and académies trying to make a quick buck and just shipping out the players prematurely.

You've said it all... we are yet to see football as a business venture... its only the academies that are trying in that aspect.. One of the biggest reason for this is that our football sector is still largely under government control.. like 80% of clubs in the NPFL are government owned... anything government owned (especially state government) hardly flourish in Nigeria.. its the bitter truth..
Privitization of the league and our sport sector as a whole is the way to go..

He has improved in this aspect but his biggest weakness he has not made much progress on and that is staying on side.

He’s been caught offside 11 times in his last four games (including this one).

If he wants succeed at the highest levels which we all know he can, he really has to work on this aspect of his gams, especially if he comes to the Prem where the speed of play is much faster.

chukwueze is too inconsistent in that left wing. I know dele bashiru can play as a right winger but onyeamachi will be a nice option in the wings at times
Scored a great goal in his last match and had a breathing assist taken away from him in the match before. Chukwueze has been doing well lately but people just don't want to take notice.

Agree that we shouldn't bring in too many new faces. Uche to strengthen the middle, Tella/Ejuke to put pressure on Chukwueze, and a fresh forward to bring dynamism from the bench.
I'd prefer Tella. I've seen Ejuke. Not impressed

Thanks bro for the correction. But the standard of play was not impressive to me. I think the standard of play of our représentatives have dropped significantly.
Like badly, I was irritated with what I was watching because I watch this same Enyimba 2004, 2005, I've been to enyimba stadium to watch this guys. To see the team playing this way was just sad.

This is another thing as well. Osimhen needs to be more clinical. Yes, he scores goals but some of the chances he misses baffles me.

Yes, all strikers miss chances but the closer he gets to being a one chance, one goal striker, the better.

I still have hope he will improve but he needs to leave Turkey ASAP and go to a club with better coaches that can help him refine and improve his game.

I’d like Dele to go to Brighton if possible. He’s not getting enough play time at Lazio
