This is what section 1 of 14th amendment says "All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

interpretation of "jurisdiction" is the key battle here not constitutional amendment per say. In the context of citizenship, it means born in the US and subject to the authority of the US...so if both parents are not subject to the jurisdiction of the US, can it be said that their offspring is subject to the jurisdiction of the US. And really in matters like this, if the supremem court is right-leaning, trump may have his way.

Saying the Supreme Court judges are conservative leaning doesn’t mean they follow the republicans blindly. The constitution can’t just be changed with an executive order
he is not seeking to change d constitution, he is seeking to set up a show where the constitution will be interpreted appropriately(in favor of his executive order of course)

Trump may likely win it irrespective what his motive may be , whether sincere or otherwise.
The law just needs the right interpretation and once it's agreed, that's all.
Plainly and simple, the law talks about American slaves that did not get freedom to now enjoy citizenship as a right given to them because many of them fought during that great war. Till today there's no such thing as equal rights even in America as long as you're a coloured fellow.

Over the years majority of those who have benefited from this law even Trump are not American slaves be it direct or indirect and there's a proof whatsoever.

You did not factor the upload into your comment, which I think is the foundational basis for citizenship in the US. It is foremost for only American slaves and not immigrants as we know Trump is a beneficiary of such.

I am saying that newly born kids of 2 parents that are not under the jurisdiction of the US may have to assume the exact privileges that is applicable to their parents.

When the 14th amendment was written and ratified, there was no problem of illegal immigrants, birth tourism and other issues around this amendment.

So the argument will be based on the problems existing then when the amendment was written and ratified.
I will advise you to go and read the US Supreme Court judgement in the case : United States v. Wong Kim Ark (1898),

This has been settled and clarified,

Trump is fooling you guys, I will remind you when the case is tossed out in the court of law. Trump will just be fooling around by multiple appeals.

This has gone to court for years and they always lose. In as far as you're in US soil, you're subjected to the jurisdiction of the US because no foreign country can kill you in the US even if you're an illegal immigrant. Also, the law applies to you if you break the law

The executive order takes effect from February. It's basically for the unborn children to be giving birth the proper way. A pregnant woman flying from Africa just to give birth in America is sheer madness. I mean what kind of opportunity are you looking for? These people are crazy though.

There's a difference iwhen people find themselves in US and had no choice than to give birth there due to circumstances if they are pregnant than setting out for the sole aim of giving birth iin America and steal citizenship of a place that you remotely have no business in, something is definitely wrong with that. One would expect all American States to fall in-line with Trump's perspective and get this done without much legal trouble.
