My first thought was….. but thank God he used a condom. It’s not quite certain if most of our men understand what rape means, & the blame isn’t entirely theirs. Both the victim and the suspect are obviously NOT Muslims, so Sharia law cannot apply! That being said, going by the Nigerian law, the age for consent is 18years old, the article says the victim is just 17, so it therefore means that she is still a MINOR.

The requirement for consent does not apply to sex with a minor, it is immaterial whether or not a girl consented, the bastard is already guilty of committing STATUTORY RAPE...
