Benekkk:
1 Timothy 2:12
"But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence."
1 Corinthians 14:34
"Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law."
These rules were for different churches. Paul go from church to church delivering instructions based on the challenges facing that particular church

We have prophetess in both old n new testaments

The book of Corinthians that you quoted was written by Apostle Paul right?

Book of Timothy was written by Timothy.

Why would Apostle Paul and Brother Timothy want women to be silent in gatherings or church?

Please note that I am not taking side with Women.
"As also saith the law" is a reference to the Old Testament -
Genesis 3:16
"Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."
Take note - He shall rule over thee!

Please don't stop writing... Writings are permanent. We read you, we learn, we unlearn, we grow. Thank you Deji Yesufu for your consistency in exposing false teachings and teachers in these last days of growing deception.

The Bible is God's word for all believers (Christians) - 2 Timothy 3:16
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
pastor/Bishop is not the same as a prophetess under the old Testament in the nation of Israel.
Pastor/Elder/Bishop are all the SAME office of heading the Church under Jesus Christ in the new Testament. They are to edify the Church by feeding them with the word of God (not Paul - God)!

I don't think she even deserves to be a church leader from all I've heard from her despite being a popular figure, but if God is the one who chose her to lead His flock, who am I to object?

I can only air my views, but it's only up to God not men to chose whichever vessel He wants to lead His sheep, whether male or female as proven with the instance Deborah in the Bible days among others.

God is not a respecter of persons, gender, colour, but only those who truly fear Him and walk righteously before Him, and only looks at the heart when it comes to choosing leaders for His people.

God bless.

That's why many Christians will keep being left behind what God is doing because they can decide for God who to choose for His work. That's how they were busy judging Kathryn Kulman on the basis of gender, when God was using her to do much more than most men of her generation were able to do, drawing many souls into the kingdom of God and raising some of the most influential preachers like Benny Hinn to continue from where she left off and raise other men. If you like don't learn but continue holding fast to the ideas, doctrines, and traditions of men that has nothing to do with God, it's your business. As for me, i want to be a part of what God is using women to do in these last days and not left out. God bless.

Did you not see the verses that the op quoted which do not permit a woman to teach in church? Is God against those verses now? If yes, where is your proof?

Bishop Funke Adejumo should not listen to that jealous guy Yesufu. Women are 100% accepted as Bishops, Cardinals and Popes in our own side of Christianity.

Mr Yesufu should stay with his local church. The global church today accepts everybody including gay priests and transgender bishops.

grin This is the problem i have with Christianity grin grin grin

So many people pretend to expand infallible opinions about Christianity, who infact know very little or nothing about the religion.
Like this OP for instance grin
How on earth will a pastor, condemn ordination of women Bishopric- A post which is not even a ministerial office grin
Yet sanction female evangelist, which is the third highest ministerial church position?
Which is even higher than the office of pastor.

The five-fold ministry is based on Ephesians 4:11 and refers to the following roles within the Christian church:
Apostles
Prophets
Evangelists
Pastors
Teachers

The Christian faith is a myriad of confusion, susceptible to diverse bogus interpretation and populated by self-righteous, opinionated religious quacks, like OP. Who can cluelessly conclude that the foundation of western civilization is Christianity.
The work of a 'bishop' includes being a teacher in church according to 1 Timothy 3:2. A woman is not permitted to teach in church.

And the Men that have ruled us all these while what has come out of it?

What I am saying is you don't judge people because of their Gender. We have bad bosses and bad leaders everywhere. Male and Female.

Judge a person because of their leadership traits and not because of their Gender
The context here is the church. Women can men can be capable leaders in other various fields.

Bible or no Bible. Religion or no Religion. Mr Deji Yesufu is a misogynist. As much as I enjoy his writings sometimes, His stand on women is so glaring.

Saw him during the US Elections claiming one of the reasons why Kamala should not be President is because she is a Woman and women should not be in position of leadership

Opinions like that should be in the olden ages and for illeterates. Not Educated Men like Mr Deji
grin Start first from Apostle Paul, who is a bloody misogynist. Who even believed it is better NOT TO MARRY.
When Paul started out, he benefited from so many FEMALE BISHOPS, including the likes of Priscilla, Euodia, Syntyche etc.
Only for him to turn around condemning female ministers.

Romans 16:3-4
Greet Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in Christ Jesus. They risked their lives for me. Not only I but all the churches of the Gentiles are grateful to them
Acts 18:26
He began to speak boldly in the synagogue; but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the Way of God to him more accurately
accurately."
Romans 16:3: "Give my greetings to Priscilla and Aquila, my co-workers in the ministry of Christ Jesus."
1 Corinthians 16:19: "The churches here in the province of Asia send greetings in the Lord, as do Aquila and Priscilla and all the others who gather in their home for church meetings."
2 Timothy 4:19: "Give my greetings to Priscilla and Aquila and those living in the household of Onesiphorus

Priscilia taught in the church in her house

Women led churches b4 Paul became Christian. This fact should not be brushed aside.
If Paul does not like women, THATS HIS OWN PERSONAL PROBLEM.
How Paul's views are equated to the views of a god is another major fraud in Christianity.

Acts 18:26 clearly stated that Apollos was taken 'aside' to be clarified about the scripture by the couple.

1Cor 16:19 shows that the house of Aquila and Priscilla was used for church meetings. It didn't say that Priscilla was a teacher of brethren when they gathered in the church.

grin Ur problem is translation.
These women were clearly referred to as deacon[bishop] and presbyter
e.g I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a minister (diakonos) of the church at Cenchreae, so that you may welcome her in the Lord as is fitting for the saints, and help her in whatever she may require from you, for she has been a benefactor of many and of myself as well. Romans 16:1-2

You are playing smart to make 'deacon' and 'bishop' to mean the same thing. The Greek word for deacon and bishop is different.

The Greek word for deacon is not limited to a teacher of other brothers in the church as you can see from the screenshot below. It can also refer to a servant in church who serves In other capacity or areas of the church.

The same Greek word for deacon is used in Luke 8:3 to refer to women who served Jesus and his twelve apostles in providing for their needs. It definitely does not mean that those women were teaching Jesus and his apostles by being deacons to them.

Nowhere in the bible are women permitted to teach other Christian brothers in the church as deacons.
