Book of Timothy was written by Timothy.


Why would Apostle Paul and Brother Timothy want women to be silent in gatherings or church?

I don't think she even deserves to be a church leader from all I've heard from her despite being a popular figure, but if God is the one who chose her to lead His flock, who am I to object?

I can only air my views, but it's only up to God not men to chose whichever vessel He wants to lead His sheep, whether male or female as proven with the instance Deborah in the Bible days among others.

God is not a respecter of persons, gender, colour, but only those who truly fear Him and walk righteously before Him, and only looks at the heart when it comes to choosing leaders for His people.

That's why many Christians will keep being left behind what God is doing because they can decide for God who to choose for His work. That's how they were busy judging Kathryn Kulman on the basis of gender, when God was using her to do much more than most men of her generation were able to do, drawing many souls into the kingdom of God and raising some of the most influential preachers like Benny Hinn to continue from where she left off and raise other men. If you like don't learn but continue holding fast to the ideas, doctrines, and traditions of men that has nothing to do with God, it's your business. As for me, i want to be a part of what God is using women to do in these last days and not left out. God bless.

The work of a 'bishop' includes being a teacher in church according to 1 Timothy 3:2. A woman is not permitted to teach in church.

1Cor 16:19 shows that the house of Aquila and Priscilla was used for church meetings. It didn't say that Priscilla was a teacher of brethren when they gathered in the church.

These women were clearly referred to as deacon[bishop] and presbyter

pastor/Bishop is not the same as a prophetess under the old Testament in the nation of Israel.
Pastor/Elder/Bishop are all the SAME office of heading the Church under Jesus Christ in the new Testament. They are to edify the Church by feeding them with the word of God (not Paul - God)!

Deborah was a prophetess. Any body could prophesy. It's not the same thing. No woman ever entered the Holy of Holies or ministered in the Jewish Temple (or even synagogue) till date!
The Bible clearly says women can't take spiritual authority over men.

Lolz. He preached based on challenges facing each church

For instance, he referred to Galatians as being foolish and immature, his tone and delivery was harsh compared to what he wrote to others

Paul did not found all churches. Infact he often disagreed with the other apostles on doctrine and in the gospel of Barnabas, Paul was referred to as a liar and a lunatic. which can be taken as a feeler to how some other medieval writers felt about him
