The greek word is syngesis and it's unisex- can also be used for relatives or cousins.

Apostles mean missionaries, people who preach the gospel.
Junia won't be in Prison alongside Paul if she wasnt preaching the gospel.

Paul also said women should prophesy in church.

He rejected John Mark during his missionary journey, yet Paul called for Mark because he found him very useful when he was in jail.

Paul isn't infallible, but that doesn't negate him as a great apostle.

I never said here that women are not allowed to preach the gospel to non believers. We are talking about a believer teaching fellow believers in the gathering of the church or brethren. Paul said women teaching was not allowed in such circumstance.

How come no early church father called this person female. Church fathers from very early on deemed J. feminine (Ambrosiaster (c. 339-97); Jerome (c. 342-420); John Chrysostom (c. 347- 407); Theodoret of Cyrrhus (c.393-458) and the lists goes on).

It wasn't until 12th century that some mysogynist church men like yourself embarrassed that a female is called apostle in the bible, change J to Junias and claimed the person is male.

Even extrabiblical sources all refer to someone called that name a female. non ever attributed a masculine character to that name.
