No matter how you time the entry leverage matters

They are not same. If you trade with big amount and go on low leverage like x3, you can still get like -120% liquidation in some coins. The higher your leverage the lower the liquidation

But serious critical thinking, btc went from 16k to 109k, and some of us are still waiting for bull market. The bull market has been with us all along, but cos of plenty coins draining liquidity, the bull never reach some coins and may not even reach. Truth be told, na trends dey rain now. Once something starts trending, Degen and F0MO ppl sell old bags to go with the trend. .

Moderate capital and good trading opportunity is all they need to make profits from low leverage.

What you need is just a 10 percent (or more, depends on how patient you are) decrease in any stocks or coin you short.

Let's say you short a coin with $100 using 3x leverage, that's an imaginary $300. Once the coin decreases by 10percent, which is 300 * 10 / 100 = 30, you make $30 dollars on that particular trade. Just with a 10percent movement in favor of your prediction.

Say you gat like 5 opportunities weekly to short or long a trade, you'll be making $150 dollar weekly atleast on a $1000 dollar account, if the trades goes in favour of your prediction, with rest of mind.

a single liquidation from that 5 opportunity will cost you the next 3 trades to recover, is that a good risk reward ratio? Because you cannot tell me your strategy is 100% accurate. Its easier said than done especially with shorts

Of course you apply stoploss with little leverage. And no strategy is 100% accurate, as sometimes I do take losses.
I was just making emphasis on the use of low leverage for good psychology and less fear.

I’ll wait till March ending if nothing sup by then, I’ll cash out everything and wait till next year ending then stick to btc forever.

Hmmm... Normally at this stage in previous cycles, when btC is ranging after a significant upside movement from it's previous high (from previous cycle), you see alts (especially the popular ones with good community, whether low or big caps) printing 2x-3x (200-300%) weekly/bi weekly, but what we are having now is alts doing same percentage like btC and waiting for btC to dump by 5% so that they can dump by 20%. Even at this stage, with all the current narratives in the crypto space!

Personally, I think it's better to start thinking in that direction so that we can position ourselves rightly. I reason people now trust btC more and nobody want to buy alts at the top.

Very well said boss. The number of new alts being created daily is crazy. Mexc innovation zone is messed up lol... Some MMs would rather create their own coin than providing liquidity to other popular projects. Well, it is what it is.
