beautyuche:Avoid giving too much information in your applications. Stick to your original plan. Goodluck |

beautyuche:Literally interpreting your write up here means you got a french visit visa and instead of using that visa to France, you decided to use French Visa to travel to Mexico. This is strange. ![]() |

DarkShades:France is one of the easiest route to get Schengen Visa. Others are more difficult. You guys got something wrong, probably basking on the euphoria of your first Schengen Visa via Netherlands and didn't out more efforts. Did you submit a cover letter? |

FADEO:I did this with France in 2019 and we're all granted. Family of 3. All first time travelers to France, but not first time travelers to other countries. I have already done five countries before I visited France (Japan, SA, UAE, AUSTRALIA and New Zealand) Let's answer some questions What's your travel history? All of you? |

Check it out, my friend just got her visa for the first time ever, even though she has no travel history. I'm so stoked because I helped her with the visa application. Our cruise vacation is definitely happening now. |

davodyguy:There was no euphoria to bask in bros. Everything was attached. Cover letter (stating activities we plan to do and cities we want to visit) as well as fully paid (but refundable) sight seeing tours to back it up. We requested for multiple entry visa with the first intended stay being for 6 days. Flight reservation was air france sef Abv-Cdg-Abv. Maybe they have alot of over-stay people from the time of olympics and have decided to take stricter measures. My sister and her kids applied as first timers and france gave them 4years multilple entry and gave her husband 1 year Multiple entry. But this was early last year. I am just trying to know if others have been rejected too recently for no apparent reason. |

I am sorry about your refusal , just wondering what could have gone wrong . What was your account balance like ? Any idea why your sister and kids were given 4 years and her hubby 1 year ? quote author=DarkShades post=133831479] There was no euphoria to bask in bros. Everything was attached. We each had more than N10m in our accounts. Bank statements we submitted were for 6 months. For my sister and her kids nobody can explain why they decided to give them 4 years. They have never been to europe but have been to UK and US. The husband that has been to europe several times they gave him one year. He was baffled as well. puffmama: |

N.B: I applied for a 7days visit to France. Inside that 7days, I will be visiting those countries but don’t know when in that 7days but have booked hotel for 7days in Paris and flight to Paris but yet to book for the other said countries. | Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 8:46pm On Jan 24, 2025 |
Horlamidei:In your cover letter yes? You could have kept mute about other exploration. France Visa Alone gives you access to 26+ countries. I visited Belfast with my UK visa, without telling UKVI anything during application. From London, just took easyJet to Belfast, then come back to London. From France to Belgium, take train |

davodyguy:I didn’t know I should have kept mute. It was after payment after booking appointment and final submission I realized I should have kept mute..! Been giving me a lot oh headache.. |

JimJim10:Your refusal had nothing to do with time you obtained Certificate. Since it was an agent that ran it, something else caused the refusal. Reapply and DIY |

davodyguy:What possible documents relating to the other shegen countries do I need to take along on my appointment..? Hotels and flights tickets only for the other shegen countries?? |
| Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Amylew: 8:40am On Jan 25, 2025 |
Horlamidei:Yes. Hotel and transport. Can be train, ferry, even bus. Just take time and book refundable ones. But it’s such a hassle booking all those flights and hotels. I got tired and I just put France alone for mine for first two trips. For the main trip I put no to are you going to any other Schengen countries. The two other countries I mentioned them only as possible subsequent trip in the itinerary. A day each or so but didn’t attach any bookings for those ones. Alternatively you can cancel your appointment, get a refund and start the process again. Fill a new application form. It’s worth calling TLS London or sending a contact us form. I think you may also be able to fill a new application form and then they swap it at your appointment. |
