Get a credit card, start out with something with 0 or a moderate fee seeing you don't travel often. And when you start traveling more, you can upgrade to something that has more perks on it.
Run all your purchases through it and pay it off at the end of the month. (I'm relatively cashless in the US, and credit cards have better protections as well)
Depending on what card you get you can earn points you can use to buy airfare or upgrade flights. (better redemption than redeeming it for cash).

Trump says it's better states are empowered. FEMA in a disaster comes in with people who have no knowledge of the area and create ground rules ( eg ignore houses with Trump signs). Most work ends up getting done by locals eventually.
$1B of FEMA federal funds also got diverted to illegal immigrants .
