Any man who has been with a woman for as long as those two have been together will hurt when she leaves. It doesn’t matter if she cheated or even attempted to kill him. The fact that he regrets the situation doesn’t mean he wants her back. After all, God regretted creating man. He regrets it maybe because it was his mistake that lead to the divorce so the divorce is his fault even though he didn't initiate it.

Not really, he has always been giving to charity, he is not so much attached to his wealth with regards to the amount he spends on charitable ventures around the world

I wonder why they can't see that. If I have a spouse that stood by me and I betray him, Lord knows I will settle him. My conscience won't let me do otherwise.

Some of these guys find it hard to process the fact that there are men (and women) who are not vicious to their spouses upon divorce. Bill Gates hasn't stopped speaking well of her, but no, they want to help him paint her as a demon.
