I care about a Senate that has started to talk about handing Trump a 3rd term. I worry about the message that neo-autocratic governance would send to the world, if perpetuated by the US, the supposed guardians of the strongholds of Democracy.


As you already know, I don't live in the US. I live in the UK. And like you, I have not been raced against for 20 years. I have been in business with predominantly English folks for over a decade and never had to question my blackness. But because it doesn't/ didn't happen to me doesn't mean it's not prevalent. And to be insensitive to it is either flat-out stupidity or just politically-naivity of insane proportions.
