I asked if you watch cnn cos I stopped watching it like more than 15 yrs ago. Has nothing to do with trump. Somebody said cnn naturally makes your BP rise. If you have hpb, your Dr will tell you to stop watching cnn and BBC. Don't know if that's true but I just stopped since then.

Part of the toxicity is the US Right wing Media. The UK doesn't have as extreme a problem because of the laws on the Media and even the libel laws there.

Here in the US, Right Wing Media is free to pump out whatever lies and propaganda they want to generate rage. And rage equals revenue. And that is where a lot of the conservatives get their info.
A lot of the stuff that is posted here isn't even things to debate. It's like debating whether the Earth is flat.

That may explain the difference in the two threads.
