Whose money should be spent keeping him out of crime? You are free to open your house and house as many as you want if thats what you desire and not force others to

Mr and Mrs X decides they dont want children because its too expensive and demanding so they can spend their money on enjoying life. Then comes Mr and Mrs Y who have 10kids they cant take care of but govt demand that Mr and Mrs X be compelled to cater for the kids of Mr Y despite choosing not to have kids

And that is fairness to you?. We know what usually follows, Mr and Mrs X will also stop working hard and wait on govt for everything

I and many Americans want to be responsible for the kids we give birth to only

Communism works as long as there is someone elses money to spend
You are still missing the point. My point is that, the government will eventually spend on those children when they turn to crime. Or will the government compel their parent to feed them while in prison?

I can be angry at Mr and Mrs Y, even mobilize the government to think of how to prevent others behaving foolishly like Mr and Mrs Y. But what I will not do is blame any of the 10 children for the stupidity of their parent, nor advocate that they suffer the consequences of their parent foolish decision.

Truth is, if we all decide to ignore these children, even Mr and Mrs X might end up not having that enjoyment they so crave for or live long enough to enjoy it when those children turn to crime.

You can criminalize Mr & Mrs Y for all I care, but by all means help the 10 innocent kids... One of them might end of being the genius that will solve some ageless problems human faces.

They choose to rewrite facts as they go. The more Trump does the project 2025 agenda, the more they’ll start to act like they never denied it was his goal. They might even start to brag about it.
Yup, the argument before the election was that Trump wasn't tied to the group because those policies were unpopular or bad.
Now that he is unleashing the same policies, that he didn't run on and denied, crickets.

Melania is a normal person who is not pretentious to claim what she isn't. She is happy as a housewife. She could have bought a degree with her money if she was trying to raise shoulder. So make Una chill and stop worshipping her to who she never claimed to be. You guys are just cultists for no reason. Melania is not self promoting so no need to promote her and disparage other first ladies, otherwise we would give you a dose of reality by pulling out their CVs to compare to the housewife.
You are the who nonchalantly refered to her as a nude model with only a school leaving certificate.
When it comes to billionaires with the same you have an excuse .

You don't know what you're talking about. When we say "almost going to zero" it's from an investors perspective. If someone invested at the peak of the hype and is down 85%, is that person not almost going to zero? Those who invested rent money will be taking out peppersoup money

I referred to her as that because bemeruca tried to imply other first ladies were trash so I had to provide contrast. I have no problem with the housewife. There are many good housewives in the world and she shuns limelight. I only have problem with those deranged cultists who will clown accomplished women and be praising a housewife/ ex stripper as class.

Govt has increased minimum wage for 2025 fiscal year but as they increased it, tax will also increase.

As govt said all nurses should go to hospital or work in the community except few private ones, nursing job is no longer attractive. But for someone coming from a place like naija, na big job.

So your solution is to take from those who took care of their lives, took personal responsibility and punish them for those who didn't

That's how the society stops caring about doing right and acting responsible when there is no incentive for it, you get punished for it

lol.... see as you put it like say someone is walking to Mr X and forcing him to part with his money solely to cater for Y's children. You and I know it doesn't happen like that in real life. The commonwealth (taxes, and other govt income) do not belong to X alone but to the whole community. Should the community decide to invest a little to give those innocent children a shot to good life, I will say it is a wise decision. In the future those children will be able to pay taxes and contribute to the commonwealth too, which is better than they spending the commonwealth in prison; becoming useless to themselves and to the community.

And taking care of the children will not stop X family from enjoying their life as planned. Even though I have the wealth to train my child anywhere in the world without Govt. support, I have no joy seeing my neighbor's children roaming the street naked because their parents didn't get the same opportunity I got or because they made bad choices or because they were just lazy as hell.. While rolling my eyes at the parent, I will be filled with joy seeing those children off the street and enrolled in school. Yes with part of my hard earned tax and contribution.

"A belief that we are connected as one people. If there's a child on the south side of Chicago who can't read, that matters to me, even if it's not my child. If there's a senior citizen somewhere who can't pay for her prescription and has to choose between medicine and the rent, that makes my life poorer, even if it's not my grandmother. If there's an Arab American family being rounded up without benefit of an attorney or due process, that threatens my civil liberties. It's that fundamental belief - I am my brother's keeper, I am my sister's keeper - that makes this country work. It's what allows us to pursue our individual dreams, yet still come together as a single American family. "E pluribus unum." Out of many, one."

"Don't get me wrong. The people I meet in small towns and big cities, in diners and office parks, they don't expect government to solve all their problems. They know they have to work hard to get ahead and they want to. Go into the collar counties around Chicago, and people will tell you they don't want their tax money wasted by a welfare agency or the Pentagon. Go into any inner city neighborhood, and folks will tell you that government alone can't teach kids to learn. They know that parents have to parent, that children can't achieve unless we raise their expectations and turn off the television sets and eradicate the slander that says a black youth with a book is acting white. No, people don't expect government to solve all their problems. But they sense, deep in their bones, that with just a change in priorities, we can make sure that every child in America has a decent shot at life, and that the doors of opportunity remain open to all. They know we can do better. And they want that choice. " - Obama 2004

So how will the community get the money to pay for these social services if not to tax the working class extra

If there is a way to pay for it by not asking from citizens or bloating the debt then let me know

Cos it's unfair to people who made good choices to have to pay for those who did not

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal. That they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights. That among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."

Those children, irrespective of their parent's bad choices, have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Their Government owes them a duty to ensure those rights. As a people we rise (in each and all successes) together and fall (in each and all failures) together. Every nation has to deal with that, and if you as a citizen disagree, you can build and live in your own island.

The govt did not impregnate anyone or force anyone to birth children. You decided to have a child because you can take care of it, Did you give birth for govt?

You are not forced to have kids. They have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Not for govt to fend for you while taking from others to do that

It is what destroyed other communist economies and thats why people flee to America
