I'm currently facing a dilemma and I'm seeking advice. I recently received an offer from an audit firm with a salary of ₦50,000, but my daily transportation fare, excluding feeding, is approximately ₦40,000. This leaves me with a tight budget.

To make matters worse, I'm struggling financially and I don't have the means to pay for my ICAN exemption fee despite having ICAN scholarship, which is due by August. I'm also dealing with personal struggles, such as not having a phone or adequate clothing.

However, I recently received an email from GT Bank for an interview for a Bank Marketer position. The offer includes a salary of ₦205,000, plus additional benefits such as HMO, 13-month salary, leave allowance, commission, and pension.

Although banking is not my field of study (I have an HND in Accounting with Distinction), the salary is tempting given my current financial situation. I'm passionate about accounting, but I'm unsure what to do if I secure the GT Bank job.

I'm really confused and would appreciate any guidance or advice.

Why don't you first attend the interview and do your best that you pass it .

Also note that as a marketer in a bank, your core responsibility is to ensure that you have clients, customers who would keep a running account with the Branch of the Bank you are employed in and most importantly, you are their account officer.
Nevertheless, the bank will organize a training to give you an idea of what the real work is in achieving the bank's set goals and objectives.
Note that your ability to maintain that capital base of your customers is what will really ensure the bank retains you in the coming years.
With a higher pay you may likely get more problems that money can solve or you can decide to have a good savings and maintain a low budget and live happily.
With a low salary, you'll have problems you may not likely able to solve which will plunge you into more thinking and if care is not taken some unhealthy form of depression.

Lastly, whatsoever decision, you take please ensure you have spoken to God about it on the route to take at this point in time.

Whatever God tells you is always better than the best or what the eyes can see.
