It is an Atiku thing. Most in the PDP, especially Southerners, resent his insensitive and imperialist Presidential ambition. PDP had her problems for sure not caused by Atiku but our former VP, as would ordinarily be the case, should be able to unite the Party if respected as a genuine and devoted PDP leader through and through as many stood with Tinubu in the APC.

Atiku is seen as a leader who stands for nothing other than his ambition he is willing to use any Party to achieve. How can such a character be viewed a leader to respect and listen to?

Many see him as an unfair and dishonourable individual so the Party is therefore without the commanding voice of a General the troops can rally round because he has proven himself in battle. Atiku lands Nigeria every 4 years, throwing dollars around, to demand the Presidency while Tinubu and even Buhari etal were always in the trenches with their Party folks.

I will always remind Nairalanders of Wikes parting shot to the PDP after Atiku and his Fulani brethren had schemed him out of the PDP primaries no Northerner should have contested if fair and principled.

Wike said "I will not be second class in my own nation". Many others share his sentiments over the Born-to-rule antics of Atiku, Bala Mohammed and co that is disdainful of the loyal and long-serving Southerners in the PDP especially during the many years Atiku was going from PDP to ACN onto APC and then back to PDP.

History has always taught is that the most despised people often end of becoming what people despied them for. What is Obi's crime? Nothing more than that as a citizen he aspires to be President, he is loved by a vast majority of the youths, something many politicians yearn for. So keep despising him, one day he will rule you. But try to limit your comment and attacks on him to where it is relevant, dont just attack him on every and anything for the sake of your hatred for him.
