Because of US sanctions, DeepSeek didn’t have access to the latest NVIDIA GPUs that AI firms like OpenAI use to train high-end AI models. It turned to software optimizations to compensate for what it lacked in hardware to create an AI model that could match ChatGPT o1.

Creating something like chatgpt in the USA for the first time is not cheap, where programmers are earning like 200,000k per year The issue here is that deepseek used chatgpt for their development which made it cheaper and easier for them to develop.

Okay try and create something as complex as chatgpt no one has ever created before and see if you will not work even harder.
