Lille have agreed a loan deal with an option to buy Chuba Akpom from Ajax, with the 29-year-old choosing the Lille over Fiorentina and Sunderland.

Wow. Fantastic video. Nice commentary.

I really enjoyed watching Heartland FC move the ball around. I hope they keep improving. Amunike has really done a good job so far.

Heartland players look sound technically and tactically. Egbo looks very promising but Emmanuel Charles really got my attention in the video. Plays like Seydou Keita. Keep up the good work BascoVanVeli.

Amunike needs some glory. Hesrtland won't give him that. Maybe Federation Cup. He needs a big team with pockets.

Siasia ought to be in the league mann. Could pick Bendel Insurance
I think Amunike should stay with heartland. It is a long term project. He carried out an open screening and ended up signing 30 players. With time, gems will rise from the youngsters and we will see fantastic crop of players there.

I believe in a few years time, Amunike would be pushing for continental trophies with Heartland.

I am pleased. Very pleased.

Enyimba really should have a look at themselves. Earlier in the season, they took Heartland to the cleaners with Amunike just starting out on the job at Heartland. But now, they are struggling to survive same Heartland in Aba of all places. Na wa.

Heartland’s newest signings, Omaka and Ekpo had fine showings vs Enyimba. Heartland made 9 January signings.

Thanks for the review Marvellous Basco.

Yes, that Emma Charles did good. Good player. I like the shape of Heartland lately in the NPFL than the shape of "bre(a)st" in the UCL. 😁😁

Interesting. Didn't know that. I knew Amunike carried out some scouting gigs during the Christmas holidays, watching players in community teams. I hope he keeps the competition and keeps the team growing. Pray for the best for them in the coming years.

Are you Ilorin based man cuz I don dey follow Kwara United tey tey o.....from Water Corporation as a kid with my papa to Kwara Utility fc,later Kwara bomber then we are landlord in division two for years.

Facts we are not able to secure promotion until we bought Exide fc of Ibadan slot and changed the name to Kwara United to make it to division one and Kwara Star fc a private owned by Olusola Adekanola bought Kwara bomber place in division two......this led to fierce rivalry between Kwara United and Kwara Star, also we have NIPOST fc and Doyin babes owned by Chief Samuel Adedoyin. It was fun then watching NPFL in Kwara Mini stadium which was later remodeled by Bukola Saraki to modern main bowl stadium but now Rashidi Yekini Main bowl but the stadium is now George Agbazikah Innih stadium complex.

Kwara United had his best years between 1996 to early 2000s with CAF confederation cup participation and lost out to Zamalek....this team produced good players......the first eleven players are as follows

1.Yakubu Haruna.. Goalkeeper
2.Friday Ejedegba...RB
3.Monday Obaze....LB
4.Sani Abacha.........CB
5=Alphonsus Ezimoha...CB
6=Oluwole Johnson.......DM
7=Sunday Johnson.......RW
8.Tony Alegbe.......AM
9.Christian Okonkwo....CF
10.Seyi Olofinjana....CM
11.Gabriel Melkam...LW

We also have Victor Gbenebeche a solid Keeper,Tolagbe Alanamu,Olu Adewumi,Kazeem Ahmed,Saheed Adeyinka,Rabiu Antiga,Waheed Olagunju,Anayo Onyenekwe,later Lati Alanamu,Balance Inawole,Taofeek Babatunde,Eniola Aiyejuyomi

Yes I watched Kwara United and Heartland when I was in Ilorin.I gave it to Amunike, good performance from away team.....I received Heartland team along Saadu Alanamu road at Abdulrazaq junction GRA and led them to Rotana hotel.I had bit talk with Amunike who is a friend to my bro a FIFA licensed agent.

Do not worry we go connect bro.
Yes Sir

Sadly, those players will run at the slightest whiff of a bigger pay. Neither do Heartland move like a club that wishes to compete on the continent.

IMO Heartland can only be a stepping stone to taking up a better club.

Yes, I hope he keeps it going and finishes the season very strongly and in a fine position on the table.

During January, Amunike's Heartland signed the following lads...

Anthony Omaka (MF) from Asvo fc (Benin republic).
Daniel Ekpo (FW/ATT) from Abia Warriors.
Joel Okoro (FW/ATT) from Nassarawa utd.
Isaac Nassy (MF) from Doma utd.
Kenneth Ache (FW/ATT) promoted from Heartland Feeders.
John Bassey (FW/ATT) from Bayelsa Utd.
Samuel Agu (DF) from Akwa Utd.
Terdoo Shimagande (FW/ATT) from Nassarawa utd.
Stephen Ezeamaiwe (MF) from Bendel Insurance.

You make a fine point. Amunike's tactical coaching prowess will shine more and lead to trophies if given the reins of the absolute biggest sides in the land.

Enyimba.... had Yemi Olanrewaju but now has Stanley Eguma.

Rivers Utd has Finidi George.

Remo Stars has a very sound coach in Daniel Ogunmodede.

Rangers has another sound mind in Fidelis Ilechukwu.

Amunike should be eyed by Enyimba but I understand that the Imo state govt are bent on ensuring Heartland return to their former glory as Iwuanyanwu Nationale and their early days as Heartland who competed for top 4 in the NPFL.

Time will tell but I love the work of Amunike at Heartland so far. He only needs to push them further up the table into the continental places.

Meanwhile, the pieces are coming together for Osimhen's departure in the summer and back into the Biggest leagues of world football.

Alvaro Morata is Osimhen's replacement at Galatasaray.

Don't mind Charles. Na so him dey whine Samueltemi337 recently.

He and Temi are doing stuffs that I cannot be here doing 24/7 anymore.

Temi updates when our lads are playing. BankyGee does that too.

Charles na NL fabrizio dropping updates on transfers and rumors and more.

Both can coexist beautifully yet Charles must find trouble with that him big Belle. 😂😂

Akor will do well. Good build. Decent height. Strong in duels. Sevilla did well getting him. A better natural number 9 than Nacho definitely.

Amunike is damn GOOOOOD, in just short time and he get this boys playing beauty football with sexy penetrating passes and orgasmic dribbles! Kudos to Him.
He n his team were unlucky vs My darling Kwara United team @Rashidi Yekini stadium Ilorin some weeks back, they also outplayed Kwara United.
If he can get a good budget, his team would definitely do very well even on the continent. Enyimba is a good brand for him.

Seems like Getafe are going for the jugular with their 541 set up and player deployment.
Garcia Pimienta responds with his regular formation and player picks.

I will see how this will pan out.

No they are not brothers but very solid players.... Oluwole Johnson and Sunday Johnson are the only home based players that always making Thijs Libregts team...... Oluwole Johnson was a typical Patrick Veira style of player, tauted to replace Sunday Oliseh but injury ruined a beautiful career......Sunday Johnson was Finidi George and Tijani Babangida combined, Sunday Johnson was only home based outfield player that made Sydney 2000,he was on the verge of signing for Ajax but lost out due to failed medical.
