I agree with Cenk in that the Dems do need to change, which is what I'm arguing for. I've seen some lib Dems try to argue that "there's nothing we could've done differently, trump is just abnormal opponent, or that it's because of misogyny that Kamala lost" trying to pat themselves on the back that they did the best they can.
These folk should either retire, or lose their jobs, there's no reward for failure. You listen to feedback and form a new game plan.

Keep in mind, I agree the Dems need to change, I don't know what direction to change in Cenk has in mind.

I don't think this is fair.
I think Republicans successfully elevated wedge issues to give the perception that Dems were solely focused on those social issues.
But at the end of the day as people will learn, those wedge issues the Republicans ran on won't really address any of the more complex disparity issues because Republicans have few policies to address it and the issues are complex on their own.

Dems spend a lot of time trying to legislate and not so much of it explaining or propagandizing what they have done/

As to the the homelessness it's a tough one.
The success of any place means prices rise esp. housing.
So how do you successfully house people who don't have housing where some of them are mentally ill without also creating a situation where you have people coming into your state just for that housing?
Do you arrest them? Is that fair esp. if someone is mentally ill. And does that not add to the costs?
Boston has been dealing with this issue for years and I think that goes to the fact that they are trying to deal with it a way that is fair.
