Infact, Niger Republic have introduced residence permits for Non citizens of the Sahelian states . Failure to have the permit, you are either sent to jail, deported or you pay a heavy fine ranging between 5-50 million CFA.
They inaugurated their new passport on 29 January, 2025 for the 3 countries. Niger, with the help of Russia have started producing over 90% of their electricity following installation of 56,000 units of Solar system in the desert.

Nigérians, Beninese and French ( especially) entering Niger now is very very difficult.

So, Mr, Sunday Dare does not really understand what he is talking about on the subject matter.
