I know a bunch of people who work in this space.
Brilliant people who could have made a lot more money in corporate America but decided to sacrifice in order to make the world better and help others.
I feel bad for them and the sudden upheaval their lives will face.

There is going to be a special place in Hell for Trump and his acolytes.

But if the republicans have their way and pass the bills they want. Anyone even a 13 year old who gets sexually assaulted will be put to death if she gets an abortion.

And before you say they can go to hospital and get care before it results in pregnancy, the republicans are also pushing for a ban on contraception. So women really have no defenses or ways of saying this is what they want for themselves or not.

Yay. Win for women.

We have bigger problems in America and men in women’s bathrooms or sports is the least of them.

Because the way you’re sounding, if you had the ability to vote, you would vote to have my right and my daughters’ rights to bodily autonomy taken away. All because you can’t see the forest for the trees.

A doctor just got criminally indicted for providing abortion to a teenager. We heard nothing about who’s responsible for the pregnancy but the focus is on the child and whoever helped her get her life back.

You might think feminists need to focus on trans people as a priority but that’s short sightedness. By the time we’re done dancing to the culture wars of trans people in public places. We won’t even have the right to vote.

Meanwhile your LGBTQ people in UK have more rights than the ones in America. You could focus that energy on them. Women in Afghanistan were free until fairly recently. And it all happened because people let extremists take over.

Regardless of whatever this administration wants to do about trans people, after everything is said and done, the net benefit to American women remains the same. It was never out of concern to women. And I need us to understand that. Yes maybe a random trans person who’s popular in sports will step down. Or they’ll get their own trans category idk. At the end of the day, the effect on the average woman is net zero.

However we’re celebrating them while they are actively removing the words female and woman from research funding? Studies on the health of women on pause because this administration doesn’t want to fund dei studies and of course women are “inherently lesser” in nature thus we must be DEI.

There’s so much more important stuff at stake and things like trans people advertising pads is stuff you care about when your literal life is not at risk.

In a state where the Republicans have successfully removed access to birth control, what is the solution you’re offering a woman who finds herself the victim of sexual assault but can’t prevent pregnancy because birth control is banned.?

I initially don't care, but when my boys came back from school one day 2 to 3 yrs ago especially my first angrily say I don't wanna be a girl, I don't want to wear pink knicker( pant) that's when I started taking this stuff serious.

We are already dying. I got banned by spambot for sharing links couple days ago but these are easily verifiable cases that made the news. Real people with real faces whose family members opened up and talked about what happened to them. So it’s not propaganda

Today should be Nevaeh Crain’s 20th birthday. Yet, because of Texas’ cruel abortion ban, today, her mother is forced to mourn her loss, rather than celebrate her birthday alongside her. Nevaeh died because emergency room doctors in three separate hospitals feared legal retribution from anti-abortion extremists and lost precious hours debating how to treat Nevaeh. Candi Miller, Amber Thurman, Josseli Barnica, and now, Nevaeh Crain. These are just some of the first people we know of who have lost their lives because of extreme and dangerous abortion bans that denied them essential, emergency care.

There was a chance that Nevaeh’s pregnancy could have been saved, and with the correct care, her life would have been spared. It is clear that as long as these dangerous bans on access to reproductive care are in place, pregnancy and miscarriage will be a potential death sentence in the dozens of states with abortion restrictions.

Abortion restrictions and bans do not stop the need for this essential health care; they just make it more difficult to access by forcing patients and providers into impossible situations. No one should be afraid to access medical care, and no health care provider should fear prosecution for giving the best standard of care.
