Dear Mommy and Daddies, please i have soliciting for assistance from kind hearted Nigerians on this platform. please I am not a scammer, I can prove everything I say here beyond all doubt! i won't be doing this if only there's a glimmer of hope. please forgive me, but it seems that I have no choice. I work two jobs to provide for my family but it never seem to be enough and as it stands I have exhausted all channels with which I can borrow money to buy it. It is sold for 18,500 but anything we can lay our hands on is perfectly okay please. Even 1k will go a long way to keep my baby girl alive please. Please my family, am on my knees, I am pleading for assistance to save my daughters life. I beg you in God's name please.. Any well meaning Nigerian whom God has touched their heart to help us, please help us. May the Almighty GOD bless all you lay your fingers on, amen.

PS: I witnessed this very type of Grade 1-12 system when i worked in an European country as an English teacher.. I tell you its truly a brilliant system, allows students to fully develop academically and hands-on skills.

I was greatly impressed.

Our education system should give compulsory room for vocational training, tech skills etc. The world is changing and our educational system should be adjusted to fit into the new world. Let's do away wit our archaic and precolonial system of education.

The future is tech. AI is taking over. Acquiring a tech skills should be a must in our educational system.

Years back I had to talk some sense into my young bro who wanted to study mechanical engineering " the same course I graduated wit but nothing to show for it and I had to switch profession". I told him to go for software engineering or cyber security. After all the argument he took my advice and now a graduate of software engineering from FUTMINNA and his his doing so well for himself and the family.

After chopping books like Engineering Drawing with Worked Examples, by F. Pickup and M.A. Parker, and graduating wit a 2.1, I still ended up changing profession.

Next question, how exactly do you make such compulsory when the reasons for children dropping out of the older system have not been addressed?!!

Do you think or believe students drop out of school solely for the fun of it?!! Do you think they stop strictly for the fun of it?!!

How does this address the low attendance and out of school stats in most states in the North?!!

What about the constantly diminished budgetary allocation to the education sector?!!

What about teacher's remuneration?!!

Certificate? What certificate? What value did the certificate hold? I ask because I have never seen a primary school leaver present a certificate for a job or anything of the sort.

now if u spend 9years and stil drop out. U end up with nothing. Same as no school. Before 6 years u get a certificate and 9 years u get another..

So, the same vacancy cannot go up with people proving they have at least completed 6 years of the 12-year new program by way of, say homework or maybe report cards showing this?

The American system is structured into elementary (nursery to primary/grade 6), junior high (grade 7 - 9), & senior high (grade 10-12), thereafter college.

This is not different from 6-3-3-4 which is not a problem with the educational sector. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this structure.

Where did I say it was better than any other system moro.n? I rather asked what is wrong with it of which none of you agents of foolishness are able to reply. Not that I'm waiting for a response from you as I know what you are.

Changing the system won't sanitize the sector.

Addressing the reasons for high dropouts and out of school kids remains the way forward.

You don't address a foundational or structural issue in a building by repainting and renaming it.
