TheGoodJoe:
The bolded is the point of the debate. Mbappe was a regular and had far more minutes than Iheanacho. Iheanacho's appearances was with far less minutes.

When it came to converting chances, the point was that at that time, many believed Iheanacho was better at it. The stats supported that.

Finito.
Iheanacho played 46 leagues over those 2 seasons and scored 12 league goals
Mbappe played 40 league over those same 2 seasons and scored 16 league goals.

Mbappe was the better finisher.

Finito

Iheanacho came in as a substitute in a lot of those games, while Mbappe started in most of those games. It is not the same thing. I wonder why that is tough to understand.

Where is Mbappe and Iheanacho now....even as at then na hype.

Checking Osimhen and Lookman person go know say class dey,no need to hype them....
nawaooh I was not expecting this from you Sha

Because Mbappe end up being better doesn't change the fact that at the time of the argument it was very valid

Thank you that on merit.
They was a time Tammy was rated over Osimhen here, will you call that overhyped. Even Bojan was at one time rated above Messi. So according to komekn it was about the here and now 😉.
Exactly

So Iheanacho had better finishing but was still on the bench and getting less games at Man City, while Mbappe will also be on the bench at City at the same period. How did that work out for him after moving to Leicester and during the 2018 World Cup with his deadly finishing?
time has proved that Mbappe is far better than Nacho not even close

But at the time of the argument it was on merit

Is it the same Boniface that plays for leverkusen and Nigeria? Forget about the goals, I’m paying attention to his overall performance. At Nigeria, he plays heavy, lazy, lackadaisical while at leverkusen he is skillful, dribbling and an average Finisher. Odiegwu o

There is nothing to discuss

We know a lot of things here ,either we say it or not it won’t affect iheanacho career ,he has been successfully already and made a lot of money grin
Iheanacho is my younger brother's secondary school classmate. They attended Emmanuel College Owerri. The records are there till today,I am Writing this because he is almost done with his career.

Owngoal dun come with another lamba that Chukwuemeka and Ogochukwu have both applied for a change of nationality to Nigeria, and are in a race against time to make SE list for the matches in match as they are both named in the provisional 31 man list.

Caf will be sanctioned of they are reported to fifa
It is simply irrational to have 12 teams in a tournament in which 10 teams qualify.
Nff should simply report caf to fifa.
If teams from the west african zone protest, fifa will sanction them. This is simply cheating and blatant stupidity

I'm hearing Both Lesley Ugochukwu ans Carney Chukwuemeka want to wear the GWG

That's a great step o. More midfield options. Particularly Ugo at DM.

He was converted to a striker in Europe
He was a midfielder, he still plays like a midfielder if you ask me
He doesn’t have that number 9 instinct like Osimhen does
Super Eagles don’t create too many clear cut chances, that’s why he’s not scoring
Most of our recent goals could be linked to individual brilliance from Moses, Lookman & Osimhen

So because your younger brother is 33 years that means Iheanacho too is 33 right or what are you inferring Sir?
