Japan ain't struggling here despite tariffs. They have been on the same 10% tariff and have been dominating

High end is dominated by Germany
Mid range is dominated by Japan
Low end is dominated by South Korea and Czech (Skoda)

Wherever range you purchase in, Europeans generally follow this formula. Know this and know peace.

Every now and then French intersperse the Mid and low range depending on the country where you are. Ford also got some market share in this range and are the only Americans competing, although Jeep is doing small bits. Chevrolet has been wiped out by poor reliability. Fiat is also unreliable and disregarded except in Italy.
