My newest Benz I’ve had for over 2 years. The ones before this one I sell them and buy a newer one simply for want of a new style. None of them had one issue.

When you say certain types of cars are prone to breaking down, and you own 3 of them in a row. Each one for years at a time, statistically the owner should be running into issues within the first year and even more issues the subsequent years.

I can’t speak for BMW as I’ve only ever driven one for a short time while on a contract. but you’re wrong on your Benz information. Don’t be making generalizations based on your friend not following manufacturer’s instructions. He can say the issues are expensive to fix when they arise but not that they are prone to breaking down.

It's like everything else you post here, you don't really have an understanding of what you are posting so can't really lie about it well.
If you've lost enough transmission fluid to have to significantly top it off you have either a very old car or your transmission fluid was leaking.
And if your transmission fluid was significantly low before you put any fluid in it esp. the wrong type, you probably already had some transmission issues.

I am in Nigeria and I drive Benz. I am on my 2nd Benz now.... I have never had a serious problem with my Benz compare even to my Japanese car. In the past, Nigerians only complain about fuel efficiencies of old Benz models, not anymore. Only those patronizing the roadside Kazeems will have complaints about Benz or any other good car. I mean na only Kazeem by the roadside will 'accidently' put wrong fluid in the car in the 1st place.

I am not wrong. No one buys a Chevrolet and has it broken down the next day. There was a time when reliability was a problem with American cars but those days are gone. you talk about fuel efficiency, they are also on per. When you talk about quality, they are better than the Japanese cars.

Take a modern Corolla or Camry and compare it with the ones built in 2005. the same goes for Benz. it is only American cars that were bad in the past and have become better today.

my first car was a Camry 2005 model. You can put condemned engine oil as transmission fluid and that thing will still be running.
