your comparison is flawed. Is the Bible, in book format, not sold? Is that tantamount to commercializing the gospel of Christ? The rhapsody of realities, as far as I know, isn't even sold. Mostly, it is paid for by personal donations from willing partners and given out for FREE to members of the public!

It is you who is making false comparison. If the bible can be sold. If the pastors can write hundred of books and even launch them by calling millionaires to make special donations and that's OK by you but an artist selling an album is a sin. How do you make it make sense? Do you know how many books Oyakhilome has written that most were bought under duress by his members?
So the personal donations is not money right? Rhapsody is sold. There are some given out for free and some sold. Ask any Christ embassy member

If there is one thing I know even if I no know anything, PC empowered these guys. He was very instrumental to each of their successes. I watched them grow from being a church rat to who they are now, from 2002 till 2020. From Sinach all the way down to Jahdiel...
I was even present when PC hosted Benny Hinn and Benny made Sinach his music minister but it is what it is. People change in the course of their pursuit for happiness.
So in fairness to PC, he was good to them all and none of them can say otherwise. Sinach, Eben, Ada, Joe praise, Frank, Ada, Shalom, Moses Bliss, all of the so called best gospel artist were at their prime at Loveworld. So sad to see them change course buts it's normal. Now that PC is saying what happened, it all makes sense. We can only wish them well and pray for them and hope they continue to worship God in spirit and in truth, even though I stand with PC on this one.

One more thing, while with PC, they were never broke. If anyone is or was a member of loveworld, the life of giving was the very nature.

No one can pay any amount to solve any man's need. Man's need are forever more and insatiable. However, PC was and is very generous to them all. None of them can have one single complaint about that. Even presently, with the celebs out of the way, BLW music ministry is one of the most sorted ministry worldwide. They catered to just like the priestly ministry. They can complain another thing o but not finances....

I am saying what I know. this is not hearsay. you cannot relate cause you don't know the BLW System. Neway, I know PC takes or took care of them. do you even know how much Sinach alone got from PC? Like I said earlier, ambitions changes as they got bigger and nobody can deny anybody's pursuit of happiness. Obviously visions didn't align anymore. PC wanted them in church and for the church more but they were unavailable and had other plans. Its as simple as that and it is okay as long as they know what they are doing. Since they left, PC has raise another set of music ministers and this time, he spelt it out clear. If you are want to go commercial, its okay for you to leave but if you want to be in the ministry, you are for the ministry. The pulpit will no longer be used for artist promotion but for edifying Christ and His body. As at today, that ministry and ministers are directly under him and do rehearsals with them. He spends time with them. He even has a residence for all of them at the church's camp ground whenever they come over. He gives them the best he can...
I know PC and understand his person. He was my Pastor for years till relocated. He is still my Pastor today even if I don't attend his church where I am. Of course they will be some scrupulous element around him just as Christ had Judas but PC as a person and Pastor is a wonderful person and all those directly under him are never the same and I mean their lives are better for it. PC is a very disciplined person. This I know and can stand up for him any day and anytime. He is a good leader, though a very disciplined one at that.

If I know PC well, he doesn't have anything against them ministering outside CE but if you ask me again, is it not obvious the distraction? the success is making them unavailable for the work of the ministry and as much as being pompous to the very source where you grew from.
