Lolli2pop:I'm not a guru Personally, I'd start by envisioning how much I'm likely or target to save over the course of the year. Then secondly, how soon would I be looking to buy a house- if its above 3 yrs (some say 5), I'd rather go with S&S Lisa as the returns are likely to be better. Except you have big pockets, when buying a house, you're likely to empty most of your savings eitherway 600x 12 = 7.2k. I'd first fill my LISA - S&S preferably. The rest would be a split of S&S ISA and some cash for as emergeny funds. I tend to keep the minimal cash I need- but thats just me |

jedisco:Will you refer to people that got Canadian PR from Nigeria and eventually relocated as expatriates or migrants? If you still believe those words are the same no problem. |

Zahra29:Expansive writeup. So in summary, were your parents windrush arrivals or was it an anchor baby situation or some other pathway? Yes, I've read of the windrush crew- they were great builders some believe. Infact they built most of modern Britain I gather. |

Viruses:Both. I am yet to see any definitive difference between both words (I am not talking about individual bias here) . If you have any, please share. |

Regex:and when you question some ridiculous things like this, or worse still champion the cause to do something decisive about it, the woke 'where is your humanity' crew will come out with plenty plenty nonsensical girama. Talk about being stuck in lala land.. lol |

jedisco:I see anchor baby is your new favourite term. I doubt you know what it properly means. Why are you still harassing me Lol For someone who dislikes me as much as you do, you certainly do give me a lot of attention 🫤 In summary, I'm just an expatriate-immigrant like you (or is it immigrant-expatriate) in search of the Land of Utopia. Can you please rest now. |

WCUB3:3. No, yes 2a. Yes but it should be evident in her account activities. 2b. This conflicts with 2a already. As she is the one making the application, her financial situation is paramount. Even if she is not showing savings, she needs to show her statement which cannot be empty and 1.5M annual income - 75k monthly expense should have balance. 1. I can't tell, but I can assure you that it's easier and better to put yourself in a situation where you won't have to explain anything than to put yourself in the situation and starts explaining. Give me an idea of why you want to explain and I may be able to provide alternative even if you are in the situation already. Saying she's unemployed may be a disadvantage, try petty business, it was suggested earlier. |

Viruses:Thanks so much for your time and explanation. The explanation is just the inflows and outflow from her account, she uses FBN mobile for transactions but it just adds ref no instead of the description she puts and there are some income(friends/family gifts) without description too. Her account balance is not empty it is the balance I am thinking of putting as the savings amount As for using petty trading she has no evidence of business or business activities and as you said I am trying to avoid situauions and explanations. |

Lolli2pop:your savings are a little to invest at the moment. See whether you can target the 10 percent deposit. Also look for a house that you can comfortably overpay by 10 percent annually. So would enable you pay off at most in 10 yeara time. |

UnconventionalT:You should place the last information at the beginning, as it’s crucial and shouldn’t feel like a side note. Given the seriousness of the allegation, it’s important for you to recognize that you cannot judge his situation with other applications alongside his. 8 weeks/2 months is okay for him to wait. Goodluck |

Zahra29:South east, Woolwich From my little investigation, I understand automatic would be easier for a first timer however I don't mind if an instructor can do the magic, I mean, can teach manual to become very easy to handle if not, I rather choose automatic instead Thank you |
