i also worked in an oil company a very well known one from 2004 to 2019
in 2006 there was a full fledged it department, internal company security, internal cleaners
by 2015, large portions of these departments had all been outsourced and what we had were managers interfacing with vendors be it oracle, lenovo, etc

the name of the game is third party contract staff.
as a nigeran you should be familiar with this

more so in companies like NNPC where the company hiring the third parties is owned by an oga.
you will see it in the id card as different id cards have different stripes. full employee, temporary, contract.

if you work in nigerian run orgs you know how the game goes

you should understand that bemuruca was at best a lowly entry level it admin.

the ones who install windows, change hard drive, etal, set up conference call. the one who you pay 5k to change your laptop battery

Shell has contract staff and they also have full time staff. It is normal in the system but they never removed the IT department completely.

Please go and ask and those in the system will tell you.

NLNG also have contract staff but also have full time IT department and personnels.

I do no doubt the fact he might be nursing the idea of cancelling elections to replace it with a concept of a plan on his head. Afterall he told Christians they won't have to vote after the last election again and people are still figuring what exactly he meant... But any attempt by Trump or his party to cancel elections will not work. The turmoil that will follow will break US. So ordinarily I don't believe Trump craziness will reach that level.
