Image123:that's the problem of saving money in Nigeria.... If u see any money jst use am build infrastructure.... That's why I don't abuse any government building infrastructures, today tinubu is building a coastal highway, people are shouting, let's use the money for something else, if we use the money for something else people go still chop am... At least build something let's be looking at it.....all d abacha recovered loot has been relooted.... |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by Image123(m): 5:41pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Judolisco:Very apt. The money they claim to be saving that will be worth less of its value in years to come. i'm not even against saving, but you can't claim to be saving at the detriment of critical development and infrastructure. They claimed to have EXCESS when we were infrastructurally naked. |

MufasaLion:How do the citizens allow such greedy, selfish people who lack understanding of the dynamics of democracy to emerge from among them into leadership positions? Any clue about resolving this conundrum ![]() |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by anonimi: 5:48pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Judolisco:The money is losing value relative to income growth precisely because of phantom infrastructure used to loot rather than employing and paying workers to provide services and utilities to create the environment for private businesses to flourish. Why has Lagos remained a glorified ghetto exporting its people to Britain, Canada, America etc despite Tinubu's 25 years of infrastructure master plan? What is missing ![]() A 45-year-old resident and father of three, Mr.Fatai Lamide told PUNCH HealthWise that no building in the community has toilet facilities. obonujoker: The lack of state-owned pipe-borne water in the homes of Lagos residents has continued to be a source of concern, a non-profit group, Corporate Accountability and Public Advocacy Africa (CAPPA) has said. |

Let's us try this man and see. He may be a better devil. Tinubu is doing big big projects now. Refinery, Aluminum and steel , are now working, criminals being defeated. Tinubu Will close many mouths with big surprises. |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by anonimi: 5:55pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
successman100:If the refineries are working, why has he failed to crash the price of petrol as promised more than two years ago, despite hitting the ground running 21 months ago? How many promises has Trump failed to achieve in just one month in government? Does that make Trump a more credible person than Tinubu ![]() Deltafirstson: |

anonimi:Improvish your people and watch how they scramble for crumbs, beg for your mercy and reverend you. A hungry man will forget his ambition and be more interested in where his next meal will come from, provided he has shelter and cloth. That's what the leaders have been doing over the years. They come back every four years to deceive the people during campign and distribute cash and food worth less than $15 to the people, and they all hail and worship them for the next 4 years. Rinse and repeat. It's a model. A working model in Africa. |

Judolisco:Are you dis naive, what's the use of coastal way in present time Why a enormous audacious contract with a very astronomical amount in a era of low income, when existing projects haven't been completed Looking at it - shior |

| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by MufasaLion: 6:27pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Pootle:No leader can be perfect, even the ones in Europe, Asia and America but one thing that the leaders we have now lack is patriotism unlike back then. And the lack of patriotism has been embedded in an average citizen in Nigeria. |

| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by Pootle: 6:37pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
MufasaLion:you cant be patriotic about what you dont believe in, the nigeria today have no business being together they knew it as pioneers but for their own selfish satisfaction they pushed for an independent that was beneficial to their ego. this country was never suppose to be together |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by MufasaLion: 6:41pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Pootle:Nigeria would do great with all the tribes and ethnicity together. However, if it's to still do it regionally like Awolowo did it, it would be frat also. The issue is not about the system of government, it's the people governing. South West would have never benefitted or even have solid development in many areas during Awolowo's but the man was patriotic and I dedicated to his people. It's just like parenting. You can't be lackadaisical, selfish and deadbeat and expect love from your kids or even expect them to be something to be proud of. |

| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by MufasaLion: 6:49pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Pootle:You're right technically but however, it's beyond that. If you have a bad leader even if he speaks your language, that becomes irrelevant. A right leader is more important than where he's from. |

.... for anyone to have a chance in 2027, they have to first yank INEC & Judiciary out of APC cult back pocket, otherwise don't waste money buying nomination form !!! |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by Pootle: 6:58pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
MufasaLion:the country is gone, it cant even be salvaged again, the right thing to do in 1960 was to split the cluster mess we have now. if that was done then we wont be where we are now. now splitting is not even the option because the whole country is now greedy. |

MufasaLion:Was it ever like this in Europe when they had absolute monarchs, with lords, landed gentry and serfs? If there was, how did they get out of the situation? How will we get out of this situation ![]() |
| Re: Atiku Visits Obasanjo, Says Meeting Not Political by MufasaLion: 7:04pm On Feb 10, 2025 |
Pootle:Well, you may be right but not being divided was to our advantage because we were a strong country. Health was good, education, transport etc. The problem is not the diversity but the leaders! |
