I have no problem with the government arresting or prosecuting Nnamdi Kanu, but the prolong detention and postponing of trial isn't right considering the fact that they just released over 800 Boko Haram terrorists who committed the same crime or even worst.

I agree with Shehu Sani who is always an advocate of compassion. The judicial and executive arm of Governance should stop the charade of this Kanu trial that has now descended into a farce.

Either prosecute Kanu robustly and expeditiously or acquit him of all charges and let him go home. Nigeria, and our severely battered image, is the loser when what is normally resolved in sane nations of the world within months is allowed to drag on for years here.

Personally, my opinion is that this is about the powers-that-be seeking political profit from Kanu's status and influence in the SE. If this was truly about justice, and the need to establish wrongdoing or otherwise , then the guilt or innocence of Kanu would have been declared years ago.
