IjeBos:
This is a silly take untethered from what actually happened.

Biden created a plan for student loan relief.
The Supreme Court found that plan unconstitutional.
He then went and made sure the student loan relief programs that were already in law were being implemented and those students who were eligible for that relief received the relief.
The goal of some of these programs Congress passed was to get people working in fields that didn't pay a lot.

There was no workaround.
He followed the law.

You've spent a lot of time arguing something you heard on right wing propaganda that you don't understand.
My bad for the lazy. I called it wuruwuru.

You are being disingenuous by halves, I dare say.

Magas have been insisting page after page here that dump don't mean what he said but now you wanna claim Biden tweeted what you understand. I mean, could he not have been exaggerating a tad, or outright lying?

Biden used existing laws to forgive as much student loan as he could within the law, unless you want to show us a judge said it ain't.

What he forgave was way far below what he promised, and there's people who never got their loan forgiven because his path for more and as promised was blocked. By a judge.

Practically. On student loan forgiveness, Biden failed to deliver.

Imo, US student loan is Indentured servitude and the master is those owed, so he clearly was up against powerful resistance and I'm glad he tried. We Nigerians should learn about this considering these early days of our own student loaning.

170k after 24 years is usury, I'd think.

Let me start where I started with Budaatum.
What did he mean here? I read what you have above. It is a lot of nothing. If I devise a plan to forgive student loans, find them summarily challenged in court, and SCOTUS returns them unconstitutional, should POTUS:

- Do what Biden did in this post if he did what you have above?

What you have above clearly is not a workaround, I agree. He simply revisited the other student loans he already knew existed but were not being implemented properly, found better ways to implement them, and was able to forgive more loans. Is that your argument? Let me be sure I've summarized it.

If so, how does that compare with the post below? There's a video for it too.
Notice he says "tried to BLOCK me".
If you wanted to discuss civilly, you would have spent time actually learning about what Biden did so you could discuss.
What you did here is spread a lot of propaganda, which is so often the case in this thread and in the US right now.

What I posted is not a workaround and is what Biden did.
What I posted and what Biden did is not inconsistent with what he wrote in the tweet you linked.
And the post was written in a way to make sure it was not inconstant.

The Supreme Court tried to stop me [from implementing my promise to relieve Student Debt]
But they Didn't stop me [because]
I've relieved student debt for over 5 million Americans[who were eligible under existing programs], I'm going to keep going [finding ways to legally relieve student debt].
Biden's problem and the Democrat's problem is he/they expects/ed people to actually read and understand policies before making assumptions.
That's not where the US and clearly this thread is in this day.
You didn't seem to.

Before going off on another tangent. What part of the article you cited don't you agree with?

Is it POTUS's duty to develop a workaround (that is not explicitly explained) except saying "we came up with one to still disobey SCOTUS' order"?

I like to follow arguments logically.
You are not following my argument at all, Android, and are adding your opinion to it and calling it mine.

The link simply lists the cases against dump. And I posted it to show you Dems weaponising, as in using the law to challenge dump.

Musk says "Some of the things I say will be incorrect". sad

How many people in this thread spread this 50 million dollars for Condoms in Gaza?
The US is going to have to tackle the misinformation that is being spread at a dizzying pace.

Mumu, the point is 50 million for condoms, no one cares about the location. They got the wrong gaza but they don't want millions of dols going to anywhere for condoms.

You are too stupid to understand simple things

Thank you for the tales by moonlight. I don't indulge in mindless drivel.

Did Biden not say the SCOTUS tried to BLOCK him?

In his post, he now insists he found a way to still get his way even though the SCOTUS blocked him.

Is that clear?

Should Trump respond, I streamlined some policies and re-implemented them in a more effective manner that I was able to [insert whatever policies that he has been blocked from implementing]?

Simple and clear answers. I can read lengthy posts. But I don't need dredge.

You have google right? If so, google the programs the revised Student Loan relief was based on. Find which ones were not legal. Hint.. none were.
The premise of all your arguments on this topic is flawed because you've chosen to try to have a conversation on a topic you haven't studied.

Just respond to that post. I don't need any other thing you have to say. I'm trying to establish the precedence for instances where a POTUS could be blocked by the SCOTUS, and still find ways to implement his policies by leveraging the already baked-in-the-law policies he can re-implement like Biden did. Simple.

This whole quote shows a fundamental misunderstanding of US laws(esp. surrounding Student Loan forgiveness) and Supreme Court rulings.
You are basically asking for precedence of POTUS following the Law (I guess it may seem odd given Trump).
You also don't seem to understand what the Supreme Court found illegal about Biden's Student Loan plan yet here you are arguing something about it.
Honestly, I can't even make heads or tales of what you are trying to say.

USAID budget is $40 bln, immaterial

Obama didn't have Pentagon?
I doubt you studied economics . If you did it was a subtopic about how liberal policies are great. Obama laid the ground for expanded deficits

It consumes more than one-fifth (22 percent) of gross domestic product. Meanwhile, the national debt—at nearly $17 trillion and counting—now exceeds the size of the entire economic product.

Entitlement programs are the main drivers of federal spending and debt. The single fastest-growing sector of federal spending is healthcare, and the not-so “Affordable Care Act” (aka Obamacare) would increase federal healthcare spending an additional 15 percent in only 10 years. Without reform, the three largest entitlements—Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid with Obamacare—are on track to consume more than half of the U.S. budget by the end of the current decade. Yet few lawmakers are working to address this fundamental (and some might argue, existential) spending challenge.

The current budget debate consists of two main parts: Funding for Obamacare and the conditions under which the debt ceiling may be raised...

Wanton spending as bemeruca been preaching to you Democrats scream about Trump cutting Medicare and Medicaid which increase every year, have been increasing per year and will continue doing so.

Foolish . Where was it debunked about 50 million for condoms to Gaza. Condoms that Hamas attached bombs to and sent them floating to Israel hoping Israeli kids will pick them.
You are beneath a mad man
It was the WH spox who said that could you give his whole statement .

Trump also said "fight like hell" . He also said "fine people". The media cut off the context to accuse him of saying the opposite .
It's like me saying "I am foolish enough to believe Ijebos is normal". Then someone just quotes the part

He is smart enough to know that Gaza support Hamas and they have zero intentions of living side by side peacefully with Israel. For now they need an independent state which includes a right of return as they demand. I doubt you know what right of return means to the demographics and democracy of Israel.

By the way, EM said he may have been wrong on the location of the delivery of said condoms but concluded that the USAID should not be spending $50M on condoms for whatever reason. Therefore, there is no victory lap between whether it was Gaza or Mogadishu. It is still a waste of $50M.

Trump secured the release of 6 Americans held in Venezuela a few days ago .

How much was spent on Condoms?
Where was the money spent?

So, what is the waste?
You don't really have any information but true to form have decided to start making conclusive judgements.
It seems you never learn.

What you are writing is not making sense but you don't know it's not making sense because you don't know enough about you are talking about.

It's like the government preventing me from building a house with toothpicks, and I then decide to build it with bricks which is the Government preferred method.
And you say, woah he pushed through on building his house with bricks even though he was told he couldn't build it with toothpicks.
So, he disobeyed the government!!
And then you tell me that it will now be precedence that people will build their houses with bricks after being told they couldn't build them with toothpicks.
That is how asinine what you are trying to say is but you don't know enough to know it.
