I hope so.
But I know that Nigerians will not do it, They cannot do it. Our lives depend on our phones, We are literally addicted to it.
The truth is we are in for a long ride of suffering from this government, Imagine more than 200% increment on tariffs, I don't entirely blame the network providers.
Are the telecomms service provider part of government ? Does government own these companies ? Then there is very little government can do about how they price their services. When the TV services wanted to increase their charges, government told them not to increase. They went ahead and increase the charges. The best we can do is to sit down with these people and have a fair conversation to get a win win situation. I am sure the NLC leadership can not do without their phones just like every other Nigerian. Telephone is a utility product. Some organisation depend on telephone services fully for their operations. So, how will such organisations be part of the strike ?

Unserious people..you didn't protest when everything was going up and govt was messing everything up..Now you want business men not to increase their tariffs.

The most useless nlc in Nigeria, if you've insist on drop in fuel price over increment of salaries we won't be in this situation. Nothing add to the increment for level 8 upward and yet inflation is on the high

Starzo:
Good move....,but can Nigerians cooperate on something meaningful for once?
They didn't decide to hike tariffs because they were bored or felt a morbid desire to punish Nigerians.

They are business people... They have profit margins to maintain, not to speak of wages and salaries to pay.

NLC and you Nigerians should be more concerned with what made the tariffs go up in the first place.

Attacking network providers doesn't address the economic issues plaguing the nation... That's attempting to uproot a tree from the stem.

NLC are not serious.
You didn't strike indefinitely because of fuel subsidy removal, sky rocketing inflation and others things.
On this one, you are on your own o
Because nigerians can't do without their phones

I have not heard a dumber statement in a long while....you want to boycott telecom services....
Do they understand how almost every business is dependent and fully dependent on those services....
Do they understand how our daily lives are so hooked on these services....

How do you boycott these services..... it's like we have dumb leadership all over the place

They think its about making phone calls....
Do they realize that almost all the banking infra is riding directly or indirectly on the telecom infrastructure...
Organizations IT services, connection to the internet and all apps and services that run on it.....All businesses that are internet dependent...

What a bunch of morons...Instead of facing the disease you are chasing symptoms....

Mumu NLC charity begins at work , the tinubu regime that removed fuel subsidy, float naira and caused economic hardship to Nigerians why was there no strike , NLC has failed us, I don't take them serious, they can't tell us to boycott GLO mtn or Airtel when NLC didn't stand for Nigerians or even hold the government accountable through at least 2 months strike

So unfortunate this is happening to NIGERIANS in Just about 10 years since Buhari and Tinubu came in as president.
The fraudulent aspect of it is that Nigerians do not get the value of their money they spend on both GLO, MTN and AIRTEL.
AIRTEL is the worst. They can be having poor network for up to 4 hours everyday.

Chasing shadows.

The root cause is Tinubu's renewed shege anti-people policies & gross mismanagement of the economy that is causing soaring inflation.

It's like talking Panadol for malaria; you'll end up wasting time treating the symptoms instead of the disease.
True talk...treat the root cause of the problem.. sad

Boycott PHCN and our useless government which doesn’t see power as a necessity. The day Aso Rock starts suffering epileptic electricity supply is the day whichever administration is present then will enact beneficial policies.

Let me see any of them NLC that can even actualize this. You leave what you should be fighting and you are fighting private business entities. Tell your govt to float their own telco so you all defect to it. Where is your Ntel, Nitel, and co? Make una zuzuru goan rest abeg. These people are private businessmen, if you don't like their products and services simply walk away. Nonsense.

Just don't shut down the signal or people would die, transactions would not work also leading to bloody situation.

Me I can't join the boycott. Glo already cut themselves with bad network.
