The robber can be tracked with that phone number. The idiot I tracked was with his phone number. Not phone IMEI number. Though in your case, the police might require you to show proof the phone is yours.

Reason why we no longer assist people in this kind of tracking is because of bad actors, op how genuine is your claim? I know someone that can help though if you are able to provide evidence.
