Good. Look into homeschooling or a British styled school this time. It might cost more money but it's best as they get to stay with children that their parents share same value as yours.

The issue is that many parents do beat their children at home with big canes and they attend same school as those that don't flog their children. When this occurs children that are flogged at home and in such schools turn around to be stubborn towards the teaching instructions.

Here's simple logic! You have no proof that flogging children like animals makes them better people. Nigeria literally stands as the largest composite of evidence against the use of corporal punishment in schools. Yet you believe, against reason, that you are a better individual today because you were flogged and that flogging children is good for them. That is a sign that someone— in addition to the education system, of course —failed you considering what the Law says of what you endured.

I can't remember being flogged by an outsider as a child—not even a teacher— and my parents did not like the idea of having their kids flogged at the schools. My mom was a teacher in the public schools so the teachers mostly steered clear of us.
