I have received correspondence indicating that I refused your order to move to dismiss the
indictment against Eric Adams without prejudice, subject to certain conditions, including the
express possibility of reinstatement of the indictment. That is not exactly correct. The U.S.
Attorney, Danielle R. Sassoon, never asked me to file such a motion, and I therefore never had an
opportunity to refuse. But I am entirely in agreement with her decision not to do so, for the reasons
stated in her February 12, 2025 letter to the Attorney General.
In short, the first justification for the motion—that Damian Williams's role in the case
somehow tainted a valid indictment supported by ample evidence, and pursued under four different
U.S. attorneys is so weak as to be transparently pretextual. The second justification is worse.
No system of ordered liberty can allow the Government to use the carrot of dismissing charges, or
the stick of threatening to bring them again, to induce an elected official to support its policy
objectives.
There is a tradition in public service of resigning in a last-ditch effort to head off a serious
mistake . Some will view the mistake you are committing here in the light of their generally
negative views of the new Administration. I do not share those views. I can even understand how
a Chief Executive whose background is in business and politics might see the contemplated
dismissal-with-leverage as a good, if distasteful, deal. But any assistant U.S. attorney would know
that our laws and traditions do not allow using the prosecutorial power to influence other citizens,
much less elected officials, in this way. If no lawyer within earshot of the President is willing to
give him that advice, then I expect you will eventually find someone who is enough of a fool, or
enough of a coward, to file your motion. But it was never going to be me.
Please consider this my resignation. It has been an honor to serve as a prosecutor in the
Southern District of New York.

The hard of hearing Nigerians who rush to defend Trump will not understand your writeup nor would they have read about the South African White Apartheid regime that imprisoned Nelson Mandela for 27 years for fighting against White minority rule in South Africa.

All some Nigerians do is to rush to comment without having the required exposure nor the full understanding of the issues at stake combined with their high dose of colonial mentality that is always thinking that a white, Indian or Chinese man can do no wrong and is always right on issues even when that white man is trying to enslave them into perpetuity.

The whole Western world is becoming more and more right wing racist by the day. Its only that Trumps own is not disguised.

From the extremely violent UK anti immigrant riots last August (where mosques were burnt, some black people were attacked by mobs of white men on the streets and mobs of very old and very young white men, women and children set fire to hotels housing immigrants) to the conservative party competing with the Reform party to be more anti immigrant than them to the Reform party leader Nigel Farage eventually winning a seat in parliament for the first time (after trying for close to 30 years) once he ramped up his anti immigrant rhetoric in a campaign where some of his party politicians said on camera that illegal refugees should be slaughtered and their families attacked and that the royal navy should shoot them for target practice once they stepped off the boat.

Only yesterday, the UK ruling Labour party not wanting to be left out of the immigrant bashing suddenly changed the rules such that a lot of refugees who have patiently waited for the 10 year period before being allowed to apply for UK citizenship will now no longer be entitled to UK citizenship FOREVER because they entered the UK via a dangerous route - e.g by boat or by hiding in lorries. A lot of these refugees were already assessed 10 years ago and were deemed to be genuinely fleeing for their lives from dangerous countries like Afghanistan or fleeing war in Sudan.

But for these desperate refugees who have waited patiently for 10 years according to the rules to claim UK citizenship are abruptly faced with the Labour party seeing that racism is now an election winner (and being emboldened by the amount of racist rhetoric Trump has gotten away with in just 3 weeks in power) have now jumped on the racist Anti immigrant rhetoric that has TOTALLY consumed the UK and it's politics to suddenly change the rules and deny these refugees the right to apply for UK citizenship even though a lot of them will be killed if they return to the countries they fled from - thus rendering them stateless which is against the law.

Then you have Germany where a Racist party may well win the next election.

We haven't yet factored in the perpetually drug addicted (Ketamine) hyperactive insomniac and Nazi saluting, Apartheid sympathizing Elon Musk whose parents got rich from Apartheid in South Africa and whose money helped the Buffoon called Donald Trump win a second term and Trump now wants to pay him back by allowing his white Afrikaner kin from South Africa emigrate to America while at the same time denying birth right citizenship to those born in America to legal migrants in clear breach of the US constitution.

It's not looking rosy for anyone with brown or especially black skin living in the West or hoping to move to the West as the West is now a toxic racist enclave and Nigerians can keep hailing and justifying racism all they want but sooner or later it will touch you if you live abroad and even if you don't live abroad, it will soon touch you because at this rate, black people especially Nigerians will soon find it near Impossible to get Visas of any sort to Western countries especially America. Just watch.

It has already started and our Chief of Defence Staff was recently refused a work related visa at the Canadian embassy.

So, Nigerians should continue hailing Trump and his racist crew. E go soon reach everybody.
