There is only one God and creator of the universe.
All others are referred to as "the sons of God". The yourubas calls them Orishas.
They represent the laws and principles of life.
There are positive principles and they are balanced by the negative ones.....
They are two sides to God., the positive side(represented by Enki/Jacob) and the negative side (represented by Enlil/Esau). Like I always say. God is sovereign over all his creation. He created them for a purpose. And they exist to fulfil that purpose

They are very much with us. Baal is a title that means Lord.Arsherah is the consort of yaweh. They are both Lord of the storm., Zeus is the king of the gods in Greek mythology. I think he is also Jehovah of the Jehovah witness. Jupiter is the king of the Gods. He is also the creator God in Roman religion. Herman is the Lord of mental working. Which is same as ogun in Yoruba religion..

There is only one creator of heaven and earth. That is the only God I reverence...we call him Chineke in Igbo language....and his set down laws, statues and custom as contained in our odinala/omenani.

My guess is that the other gods are now dwelling amongst us living as ordinary mortals like bible said:

Acts 14:11 KJV And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.

JEHOVAH promised to do a lot in our time so that His worshipers may be confident that they are getting things right.

The gods of the nations had no mouth so they can't speak therefore all their worshipers have become like them! Psalms 115:4-8

Ask any religion to present what their God promised and you will see them running away from the Bible but when it's time for their leaders to extort money from them they will start quoting the same Bible!😂
