I've performed 3 different updates on my side yet, no single issue. The only thing I observed after the OTA upgrade from android 13 to 14 and to 15 was a kind of lag why using apps. But, this was fixed after factory reset.
WiFi, hotspot..... All the feasures working as expected.

Why not do a factory reset?

I just got this phone in December, I can't do a factory reset now. I think I will just get a modem and a new SIM for my browsing needs.

Instead of spending extral cost on modem, have you tried connecting the phone to your PC via "USB Tettering" with the use of the charging cable?

Since Samsung decided to intentionally send it as updates in some of their old flagship like s20,s21, note 20ultra etc

Didn't know that the Redmi Note 13 has hotspot connectivity issues.

It's so, so frustrating. It disconnects after every 1minute and reconnects back, only to disconnect again. 300k phone ooo
